இது எப்படி இருக்கு???

I came across a new brand of rusks.

They were unbelievably crispy and

"spoke" when they were shaken!!

I got them through my sister who visited us.

I felt :dizzy: when I saw that

they were dipped in hot coffee,

made into a pulp and eaten!!! :faint:

oh! I thought you meant it for this:
[/COLOR]

That person is really annoying...he is small sized person and makes so much noise.
Really wants attention and respect non stop.
Chihuahua syndrome as I call it.
Thank God he is related to me only by marriage and NOT by blood.

இது எப்படி இருக்கு???

A few years ago I noticed a poisonous snake (kaatuviriyan)
in my bedroom, along the edge of the wall, around 11 P.M,
when I was all alone by myself, on my wedding day.

The power got cut and the watchmen could kill it after midnight.

The news and my fear did not cause a ripple in the family circle.

The Lion-men (AaN singangal) of the family saw a snake,
outside their mom's house, in the garden, during broad daylight.

All the plants (including the curry leaves plant) have been cut down mercilessly. All the leaves and the garden wastes have burned in a huge flame immediately.

There is so much of talk about what could have happened
if the snake had got into the house! :blabla:

Proves that I am the first in the list of important people
from its tail-end!!!

Dear VR Ji,

It was your wedding day....so the serpent came to remind you what it told Eve.
OMG VR Ji!! You are Eve incarnate.!!

Dear VR Ji,

You know on my wedding day I was getting ready and a my mum's friends daughter aged 10 then came up to me room.

She asked me "Akka how long you know the mapillai?"

I said.. "less than a month"

She the asked "have you been out for dinner with him"

I said "yes once or twice"

She then asked me "have you sang any songs with him"

I said "No"

She was "what!! akka!you hardly know him..only been for dinner 2 times, never sang songs and you are marrying him?"

இது எப்படி இருக்கு???

When I went around the neighborhood distributing sweets on the happy occasion of the arrival of my grandson Varun, I had mixed experiences.

In the first house the lady accepted the whole box meant for many families. I had to request her to take as many as she wanted but not the whole box.

In another house the door would not open. When I was about to leave a servant girl peeped out and said everyone was sleeping (at 11 A.M?)

In the third house I got frightened seeing the startled expression on the face that opened the door.

In the fourth house I was told to 'come back later' as they were eating lunch.

Of course I did not go again but reserved the sweets for them - in case they come asking what I had wanted. None came. So someone else got those sweets.

I just wondered how is that I never say "I am asleep"; "I am eating";
"Come back later" etc.

Then it struck me. I had none to convey those messages. I will have to go by myself . So I can never do to them what they were doing to me!

She had been ENLIGHTENED by Tamil movies!
Did she ask you whether you two had run around trees ???

Dear Tmt VR

I remember reading something like this : We don't know whether animals believe in God
or not, but we surely know they dread the Devil - Man [read mankind]. He's destroyed
all their natural habitats, captivated them, used them on experiments from pain tolerance
to disease resistance, cross-bred different genetic strains against their will, exploited them for his
commercial purposes, polluted the atmosphere, water and even killed them as offerings to God !

You must've scared the hell out of that snake !

I sure did!
I packed the space beneath the door to make sure that it could not go into any other room before the watchmen arrived.
I caused its death though it had come to give me some company on my lonely wedding day! :tsk:

In some houses and even wedding feasts the appalam would have turned into a cloth. We will have to tear it or use scissors to be able to eat it without choking.

So I make it a point to fry the appalam just before we sit to eat.

Imagine my chagrin when the appalam was smashed
into a thousand pieces, mixed with the saambaar chaadham and eaten!

Another unholy attempt was when it was smashed, mixed with the payasam and eaten!

Dear VR Ji,

Actually when we recall wedding day there is always bound to be funny incidences.

I remember my younger bro was the Mappilai Tholan for my wedding.

I saw the marriage video a few days after the marriage.

Both my husband and bro were shocked cos what they were joking with each other was recorded in the video.

Ok here goes..both my husband and bro were getting uncomfortable that the ceremony of both of them together were taking so long.

So my husband whispered to my bro "am I marrying you or your sister?"

My younger bro replied "I was also thinking the same thing..it feels like a gay marriage"

They really didnt expect their conversation to be recorded in the video!!LOL

You should have seen the look on their faces when they saw the video.

Here they replace the dialogues with some nice naadaswaram music.

So it will be a happy sight seeing the brothers in law entertaining each other!

I havent come across anyone including myself who eats an Appallam in one piece

Yes..Appalams are fragile like hearts..

That's what even Remo says:

kaadhal yaanai varugira remo
mutha thanthathil muttuvom remo
appalam ithayangal bathiram remo
rambo remo...

The snake would have scared the hell out of a lesser person.:fear:

But here I must've scared the hell out of that snake!:scared:

You mean to say people are actually so rude?
To ask someone to come back later even without finding out what the reason of the visit was?

What ever happened to Athiti Devo Bhava.

Out here we have foreign workers from Pakistan and Bangladesh who in their free time cut grass at houses.
So when they call at the gate ..we either tell them we want to engage their services or tell them its Ok next time.
Some even ask for some water sometimes and we give them too.
No one leaves without getting an answer.

You have weird neighbours.
I can imagine with your knee pain you still walked around to share your happiness with them.

Next time parcel it to me !!LOL

Dear Tmt VR

Sorry to tickle-up a sensitive issue. I just saw your post on vitamin M or the deficiency of it.

I too don't give a damn about such people. To me you have vitamin W - wealth of knowledge,
talent, smartness, sportive, up-to-date, with the right blend of modernity & conventionalism.

As I had said earlier, I am very much into Geni and located a Mrs Visalakshi Ramani in one
of our family trees! But my happiness was very short-lived as saw her profile:

Picture : That of a lady in a yellow saree - in early/mid sixties
Wife of : Ramani Jayaraman - you had mentioned Rahgu Raman, somewhere.
Mother of : Suba Ramani & Hema Ramani - you had mentioned 'two sons' somewhere.
Sister of : Lakshminarayanan Subramanian & Gurumurthi Subramanian.

Like one of those Naadi Josiyar's chuvadis - eleminated, not you. How sad !

I hope you will not consider it as my being too nosy / inquisitive / prying for the sake of
" Vambu Alandhufying ".

You are using big big words. I only meant, Men should behave in a reasonably
good way without giving room to any ill feelings or ill thoughts or bad actions
not accepted by the society. Men should not dwell in negative thoughts. God
gives mind to everyone and HE expects him/her to fill it up with good things.
There is a saying that if you instill good things in the mind, it will steer the wheel
in the right direction.

Dear sir,

I hope my earlier explanatory post didn't offend you in anyway.
I have high regards and respect for you.
If I had offended you in my post kindly accept my apologies.

regards
lots of love
