The servant working in my friend's house is always threatening to

quit. Whenever they try to bring a new servant, the woman never

comes to work for more than one day.

Apparently the old servant is threatening the new servant so that

she discontinues immediately.

On the one hand she says she wants to stop working for them.

On the other hand she makes sure that she will have to continue!

puzzling behavior isn't it???

The secret beneath the puzzle....

to hike her salary since the couple are

both sick and depend on their domestic help.

The poor wife is now confined to her wheel chair.

Her legs are bent like bows. She cannot walk a single

step...despite being a small and a very light woman.

The walker, the walking stick are all useless.

Her husband chides her for not being able to walk.

She can only shed tears in response.

What was he doing until her legs became like bows and she

became completely handicapped???

His negligence was the cause and she is being blamed for it!

The efficient wife managed to make a gas cylinder last for 50+

days. The husband was not impressed. He said in his brother's

house it lasted for 60 days. In his friend's house it lasted for 70

days. She was wasting the precious gas.

Then the wife had to go to help her sister during a surgery.

The man cooked whatever he wished to eat.

The cylinder got exhausted in less than a month

even before the refill arrived!!!

He was forced to eat out in Hotels till both she and the refill of the

cylinder arrived!!!

Normally, it is said that eating sweets stimulates the brain rather to think better.
Sugar made sweets if consumed would not slow down thinking process and hence
the above offered sweets can be consumed to have more thinking power. Will VR Madam
despatch them to the concerned through courier.

People want the best in everything for themselves, from others
They don't bother if they are the best for the others or not.

People want themselves to be accepted as they are
They don't have the heart to accept the others as they are

People want commitments only to be offered
They don't want to offer their commitments..

If acceptance and commitments are mutually accepted
Accepting each others human flaws and reasonable incapabilities
The relationship would sustain and would be sweet.

Some could understand sooner or later some never!!
Many could achieve this and many could not.

What to say?? Fate???

Many a times, heart and intellect plays the blame game
Which ever wins, determines the outcome.
The outcome can be positive or negative
But, it's ONLY THE HEART that feels all the pains and the pleasure.

A Friend in need is a friend indeed! Yes! Earning money only is not the mans responsibility; he has to allocate time towards his obligation to his wife and mainly his children. To make sure his children receives proper education is his his responsibility. Even if he is away from family for the sake of earning the money to keep his wife and children comfortable, like you rightly said in the quotation, he has to take proactive intesrest in the welfare of his children; providing proper education is one of them!

Sowbagyavathy V R, I was debating on this issue with one of the very respectable member. I always knew you would come to my rescue! Thank you! Your message bolsters my point.

Husband scolding the sick wife : - This is generally the problem suffered by most of the
women irrespective of the age group at the time of sickness. In some houses, quarrel
takes place during periods of wives as the husbands are forced to do work at home.
The solution to this problem is wife may have to remain silent or calm down without
reverse attack and when the husband is cool, she should slowly explain her problem of
pain or sickness, etc and also about the pain of scolding.

but no one wants to GIVE his/her BEST.

Sri. Balasubramaniyan, Greetings.

I can't quite grasp the quoted message. If the wife is sick, shouldn't the man be more supportive for her? Where does the 'scolding' come into the picture at all? If that man can't understand his wife's sicness and or pain, what kind of a person is he? Why should she take scoldings from him silentlyif he can't understand basic things? I don't know. And you are saying 'it is generally the problem!".. this kind of problem should not be there at all. My wife complained of regular shoulder pain; it was/is true. While massaging her shoulders, I know the kind of pain she would have by feeling the muscle and tissues around the area .. well, I am trained to know such pains and discomforts.. slowly I relieved her from the kitchen, took up a 'role reversal'. Now I 'man the kitchen almost in total', she can rest her shoulder muscles. ( but we fight every single day for various petty petty things anyway; that is beside the point). Gist of my message is, the man should be more supportive to the lady if she goes through any period of sickness.
