What do you see here
A beauty or a brainy???

images

The above image is used to test the vision.

The normal sighted persons will sea Albert Einstein.. The brainy!

The near sighted people will see Marlin Monroe... The Beauty!

images

The face with a million dollar smile
and setting afire a million hearts.....was
reduced to this when the life force left her body!

Marilyn Monroe
monroe.jpg

Monroe was found dead by her housekeeper on August 5, 1962. Her death was ruled as an overdose of sleeping pills. Questions remain about the circumstances and timeline of housekeeper Eunice Murray’s discovery of Monroe’s body. Also, some conspiracy theories involve John and Robert Kennedy. The official cause of her death was “probable suicide”.

What is the use of beauty when you end up committing suicide
What is the use of name and fame when you end up hurting others
Life is not beautiful just with how you look and think
Look at the sky above, the blues that it reveals

What is the use of loving others when you could not love yourself
What is the use of pleasures that you could experience only with rehearsals
Life is not beautiful just with how your perfom
Look at the nature's beauty, how it reforms.

WOW!!!

Is this poem meant for me Mr. Ravi???

Well here are some passing thoughts as I read your poetry.

1. Beauty may be the reason behind the suicide /murder!

We know how the beautiful people are manipulated and exploited by the powerful people.

Also the beautiful people try to manipulate and exploit the powerful people.
In this tug of war many things can happen, many things can go wrong and very often the only safe outlet might be to silence the exploiter permanently.

2. Name and Fame more often than not boosts the ego to such an extent the
person becomes less sensitive to the feelings of the others and end up hurting them.

3. Each of us see the world through our own eyes and interpret it in our own way.
The blue of the sky may make a person feel gloomy while it might remind another person of lord Krishna and make him go into ecstasy.

Continued from the previous post...

A person finds it easiest to love himself and hardest to love another unconnected with him in any way.

Practice makes perfect. This is true of all arts.
But happiness and joy are best when they are spontaneous.

Nature's beauty is fast vanishing. Of what little is left, man has little to
stand and stare at it.

But if each one gives out his best, there is still hope for the world.
Let us keep the hope alive and ever-growing in size.

I can add a few more lines to Mr.Ravi's poetry....

"What is the use of winning laurels....
when there is no one to admire it on you?

What is the use of winning a name and fame...
when there is no one around to tell it to?

What is the use of living with persons ...
who will never ever really understand you?

What is the use of understanding ....
when they are unwilling to share your joy?"

Let me add too..

What is the use of living if one has to be born again,
What is the use of dying if one has to die again,

Punarapi jananam punarapi maranam,
Punarapi janani jatare sayanam,
Iha samsaare khalu dusthare,
Krupayaa pare pahi murare.

I am wonder stuck Shmt Visalakshi Ramani...I am wonder stuck!!!!!!!

You have expanded my short poem into the true message that it carries, exactly the same that I had in my mind and produced it in a form of short poem

I could not believe this!!

My poem had double message for both types of people with positive perspectives/attitude and negative perspectives/attitude.

Yes, the poem was subsequent to your post with an image of a young beauty and the same pained oldie..

The dead one is also the same young beauty! :music:
That is what hit me like a blow in my face!!!
She was just 36 years old when she died! :tsk:

I was remembering this incident today.I sometimes feel that men can actually be too soft in approach at times.

A few years ago my husband and I purchased a double story shop lot and wanted to rent it out.
My husband engaged a real estate agent to look for a potential tenant.

When I met the real estate agent I somehow didn't like his face.He reminded me of Pattasu Balu gangster face.

I did ask my husband if this real estate agent was the right choice cos I personally prefer chinese real estate agents cos they are more professional and treat clients well.

My husband said this Pattasu Balu look alike is an Ok guy and don't worry.

Ok when we went to see the shop lot since it was a construction area we didn't want to take our new car so we drove our old car.

The real estate agent passed a remark on the car laughing sarcastically and telling my husband that "sir as an engineer I am sure you can afford a better car..even I drive a better car than you"

I really didn't like that statement and whispered to my husband that just do not engage him cos he is rude and his background shows.
If someone is judging anyone based on the car he drives that means this person has no values in life.

My husband still didn't listen to me.
Then Pattasu Balu tells my husband to sign the document to engage him as the sole real estate agent.

I disagreed and told my husband..keep options open, engage others too so that there will be healthy competition and this guy won't slack and take advantage of the situation.

Again my husband did not agree with me.

Ok then this agent was totally not committed to find a client.
He used to find all real weird clients who wanted to have a market that slaughter chicken in my shop lot.
I said No..I do not want any killing in my shop lot.

Then the agent would call up my husband to meet him at the shop lot and when my husband reached there he would not turn up.
He would phone after 1 hour and say he was busy etc.
This went on and on for many weeks and I thought it's high time Pattasu Balu gets a dose from me.

I told my husband to give me his number.
I called him up and was not at all polite in my choice of words.
I was using words like "enna da!" left right centre and told him if one more time you make my husband wait like that I will be engaging another agent and right now I might just toss the agreement my husband signed with you in my dustbin!
Cos I didnt sign it.As co owner I will engage another person soon.So if you value your income you better behave.
I even used words like Mavane gaali da ni if you make my husband run around again.
He didn't say a word to me except repeat "doctor..doctor"
I think he didn't expect a doctor to speak like a Swarnakka.!!LOL

I didn't tell my husband that I screwed up the guy on the phone.
Within 2 days he called my husband and told him he found a client and was right on time to see my husband.

My husband asked me "what did you tell him over the phone? Cos he was extra polite and very punctual"

Only then I told my husband how I fired that guy over the phone.

So the moral of the story is "Ahimsa doesn't work all the time"

There is more than one moral in this gripping story.

1. men and women think differently.

2. men depend on this (dim witted) intelligence while
icon3.png

women depend on their burning bright intuition. :flame:

3. men do not listen to women EVEN when they should!

4. Men KNOW the difference between politeness and rudeness
but behave as though they both are one and the same.

5.Women should keep their options open so that they both do not end up becoming mince meat.

6. At times women should DISOBEY their husbands.

7. At times women must DARE to things in their own control and sort out the problems boldly

8. It pays to keep the events and dialogues secret until the desired result is achieved.

WOW!! That is quite a lot of moral from one single episode!!!

Any ore moral packed stories Renu???
