Sowbagyavathy VR, Greetings.
When you say "We admit the flaws"....... I term those flaws as animals lurking in the depth of our minds. One would not admit a flaw unless one acts such a flaw. For example, if someone says I am a gambler, I would only smile and move on, because, I don't gamble. Similarly, if someone brands me a 'sthree lolan', such branding would not get very far. But if someone says I am short tempered, I will have to stop and listen, because, I know I am one. My short temper is not an invited problem from outside but an existing problem within. I have to recognise my issues, identify the triggers, work the ways to minimise and reduce/eradicate such triggers so that, I overcome short temper ( and long temper if there is one like that).
I can't get rid of short temper just by admitting it and acknowledging it; I should go through an anger management strategy. While going through an anger management strategy, I am likely to get angry too. But I should continue to overcome the anger by proper strategy.
Cheers!
