Do we need to project murderers as mega heroes???

[h=3]Is 'Rustom' Inspired By The Infamous K.M Nanavati Case?[/h] The first look of Akshay Kumar's upcoming film Rustom was unveiled a couple of days back, in which Akshay is seen wearing a Naval uniform and we had also been told that the Khiladi plays a Parsi character in the film, which is based on real events. Now, on hearing this and seeing Akshay's look, we were immediately reminded of the infamous KM Nanavati case, in which a Naval officer was charged with the murder of his wife's lover and the sensational trial by jury that followed, which shook the country. Incidentally, Nanavati's trial was the last trial by jury in India.

T.V contents ALWAYS ( and not just SOMETIMES) scare me! :scared:

[h=3]Indian TV content sometimes scares me, says Amrita Rao[/h] Mumbai, Feb 26 (IANS) Actress Amrita Rao, best known for her roles in films like "Main Hoon Na", "Welcome to Sajjanpur" and "Vivah", says the working style of the television industry and the content depicted on it sometimes scares her. Amrita, whose sister Preetika Rao starred in popular show "Beintehaa", is all set make her TV debut with the forthcoming finite series "Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai". In a film, there are four-five highlight emotional scenes, like romantic scenes, but because in television, the journey is so long there is so much, so it's emotionally draining as well," she added.

Since their arrival, Rohith’s brother Raja and his mother have been in the media glare, with TV channels seeking their reaction to each development and trying to understand their demands to the government.

There was a guest house in a jungle, in which the person sleeping on the bed would disappear at night without a trace.

No break-ins or violence or blood shed or fighting scenes or disturbance would be seen in the room.
The mystery remained unsolved for a long time.

Then one night a brave man sat with unblinking eyes on the bed throughout the night. He saw two luminous objects at a distance and they seemed to be moving closer and closer. h

He shot in between the two lights and there was a huge rustling, flapping and disturbing sound.
The lights were the two eyes of a python and the predator had been devouring the victims whole without leaving any trace.

We as children used to feel thrilled when this story was related with the right emotion and suspense by our dear mother!

[h=3]Snake hunters bag 106 pythons in Florida effort to control predator[/h] Snake hunters stalked the invasive Burmese python in the Florida Everglades this year, capturing 106 of the predators in the state-sponsored "Python Challenge," including one measuring 15 feet (4.6 meters), officials said on Saturday. It is unclear exactly how many Burmese pythons are slithering around the Florida Everglades, since they are masters of stealth, but they number at least in the thousands, said Florida Fish and Wildlife spokeswoman Carli Segelson. Florida is aiming to eradicate the species from the wild to protect native mammals, birds and reptiles in the Everglades.

As are the Dalit notions rejecting mainstream religion. There has been a Dalit critique of Hinduism as it pertains to the symbolism of the subjugation of the aboriginal people of India.
