[h=3]Death by overwork on rise among Japan's vulnerable workers[/h] Japan is witnessing a record number of compensation claims related to death from overwork, or "karoshi", a phenomenon previously associated with the long-suffering "salary man" that is increasingly afflicting young and female employees. Labour demand, with 1.28 jobs per applicant, is the highest since 1991, which should help Prime Minister Shinzo Abe draw more people into the workforce to counter the effect of a shrinking population, but lax enforcement of labour laws means some businesses are simply squeezing more out of employees, sometimes with tragic consequences. Claims for compensation for karoshi rose to a record high of 1,456 in the year to end-March 2015, according to labour ministry data, with cases concentrated in healthcare, social services, shipping and construction, which are all facing chronic worker shortages.

[h=3]Indian villagers block women activists from Hindu temple[/h] Angry villagers blocked a group of women activists from entering the inner sanctum of a temple in western India Saturday, despite a court order mandating Hindu women's right to worship. The high court in Mumbai said Friday women had a fundamental right to enter temples and directed authorities not to bar them from any Hindu place of worship across the state of Maharashtra. Buoyed by the high court order, a group of about 30 women activists tried to enter the shrine of Shani Shingnapur temple in Ahmednagar district on Saturday, television footage showed.

The answer lies in his question itself... because the movies are cheap and vulgar!!! :moony:

(Vulgar) Thoughts precede (Vulgar) words and (vulgar) words precede (vulgar) actions!!!

  • [h=3]What's wrong in watching cheap, vulgar films, asks Vikram Bhatt[/h] New Delhi, April 3 (IANS) He makes erotic thrillers unabashedly and feels the censor board in India has assumed the responsibility of "protecting the audience's taste", something which is not its job. Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt, whose new film "Love Games" delves upon the behind-the-closed-doors subject of partner sharing, asks when the audience is willing to watch "vulgar" films, why should others decide whether it's worth watching or not. Bhatt is clearly not happy with how the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) members have been chopping off scenes, muting words and even banning movies in the Indian film industry.
