[h=3]'Rajni Phenomenon' is beyond explanation, feels RGV[/h] New Delhi, April 17 (ANI): Rajnikanth, the Thalavia of Indian cinema, is an unexplainable example of being superstar, feels director Ram Gopal Verma. In a series of tweets, the 54-year-old director spoke about Rajnikanth's aura, even after being "short, darks and without six-packs." "The greatest psychiatrists in the world will collapse with the challenging task of explaining the Rajni Phenomenon," read the first tweet. "This man by being the biggest star ever completely destroys the notion of looks being important for stardom," wrote RGV.

Rajnikanth got famous for his style & mannerisms in movies aided by punchy dialogues..He created his own macho image with a dose of philanthropy & spirituality!! He could have been CM in 1996 when he was at his pinnacle of glory for his political correctness in hitching onto anti JJ bandwagon!

But many other actors are equally stylish, are better actors,
speak punch dialogues and do philanthropic activities.

I think it is his good luck that he became so popular and famous. "Koduthtu vaiththa manithar!" :thumb:

WHY should every successful actor try to become a C.M of some state???

Is being a famous actor enough qualification to run a government well???

Someone wants Amitabh Bachchan to become the President of India. The very next day the Panama papers emerge bringing shocking facts to light!

In the olden days Kings were trained in warfare as well Neethi saastras to be able to discharge their duties in a just manner.

They gained popularity by their blemish-less rule. Now people want to rule just because they are already popular!

A parting statement!

NOT knowing English is discussed as a drawback!
But how much English does Rabri Devi know???

I can't even say "A poor little boy!" and pity him! :(

[h=3]Tamil Nadu polls: How wife Premalatha is changing scenario for Captain’s DMDK[/h] Already accused of stopping an alliance of her husband Vijayakanth’s DMDK with the BJP as well as with the DMK, of snapping ties with the AIADMK, and of forcing mini-rebellions in their own party, Premalatha took on another holy cow in the state earlier this month. Responding to comments that Vijayakanth’s speeches were incomprehensible, Premalatha said the late MGR had been incoherent. The legendary actor’s fans are fuming, not least because Vijayakanth had modelled himself as “karuppu (dark-complexioned) MGR” in his initial acting days.

[h=3]Why is Kangna not recording her official statement: Hrithik's lawyers[/h] Mumbai, April 18 (IANS) Proceedings into the ongoing legal battle between Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Kangna Ranaut have been stalled as the latter has not yet recorded her statement to assist in the investigation, say the former's counsel. Actress Kangna Ranaut is yet to record her statement following a complaint lodged by Hrithik which says that a fake email-ID has been created and an impostor has been operating it under his guise. [h=3]Dipa Karmakar vaults into history books after qualifying for Olympics[/h] Dulal Karmakar spent a few sleepless nights having taken — what he thought — was a deeply uncomfortable decision: that he would keep his younger daughter Dipa in a Bengali medium school. Having started out on gymnastics just a year ago, the Class 3 girl had concluded that the only way she could devote all her time to the sport she was beginning to like, was by sticking to the Bangla school, which had very few hangups about attendance and which allowed her to spend maximum time at the gymnastics hall where she was quickly learning the basics.
