How ill is Amma? Rumours of kidney ailment swirl as Jayalalithaa goes AWOL

Which is worse ...hacking the site or damaging the site??? :decision:

[h=3]Someone purposefully caused damage to Antrix website: ISRO - The Economic Times[/h]BENGALURU: The website of ISRO's commercial arm Antrix Corporation Limited appears to have not been hacked and the problem might have occurred due to a purposeful attempt by someone to link the home page to another page, an Indian Space Research Organisation official said. The website of Antrix was reportedly hacked yesterday and thereafter the work to fix the problem was taken up by Antrix officials and it was blocked immediately. "It appears that the Antrix website has not been hacked, but might have been a purposeful attempt by someone who linked the home page to another page," the ISRO official told PTI. "The problem is there but there should not be any cause of worry because the website does not contain sensitive data which could be detrimental for India's security," he said.

Few return to claim lost items on Delhi Metro

You might fret about carelessly leaving behind valuables in the Delhi Metro, but very few people return to claim their belongings. Data collected from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) suggests that only 7.88 per cent of the commuters have actually claimed their items ever since Metro services began in the city way back in 2002. Located at the Kashmere Gate Metro station, DMRC’s ‘Lost and Found Office’ (LFO) has so far collected 16,811 items out of which a mere 1,325 have been claimed. The most common items people forget are files, mobile phones, bags, wallets, tiffin boxes and bottles,” said Vipin Jain, Special Manager at the LFO.

[h=3]11 people who turned failure into success - The Economic Times[/h]The road to success is challenging. There is no one in the world who hasn't struggled his way to the top. Walt Disney, the creator of Mickey Mouse, was accused of lack of creativity in the beginning of his career. Not letting himself get bogged down by an early rejection, he went on to give the world characters like Donald Duck and Goofy.

Capital friends!!! It is the capital!!!

[h=3]Communal rage grips Delhi too[/h]WHEN it comes to communal flare-up, even Delhi- NCR is not entirely immune. In fact, there has been an alarming increase in the number of clashes reported in Delhi alone in the last one year, with the latest being a dispute over the right to use Ramleela Ground, a part in North East Delhis Shri Ram Colony. The act of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) activists to hold their daily meetings and physical drill at the ground every morning has raised some concerns among local Muslims.

New Shoes for our Soldiers - Indian Army to Replace Old Canvas Shoes with Cool Sports Shoes - The Better India

Indian army will soon bid goodbye to the vintage World War II era PT shoes and get modern sports shoes. The new shoes will have a life span of about 15 months as compared to current ones which only last six months. Jawans of Indian army take some of the toughest routes, walk on the hardest roads and follow some unconventional paths. Until now, the army has been using shoes which were commissioned during the time of World War II. Since then, nothing much has changed and the jawans continue to use that not-so-good-quality vintage footwear.

Think or Blink!!!

Following wise words are taken from the speech of Red Indian Chief Seattle -Si'ahl (1790/1866) answering the then US President Franklin Pearce, who wanted to buy the native land in exchange of a reservation in 1855.

This we know - the earth does not belong to man - man belongs to the earth. This we know. All things are connected like the blood which unites one family. All things are connected. Whatever befalls the earth - befall the sons of the earth. Man did not weave the web of life - he is merely a strand in it. Whatever he does to the web, he does to himself.

The whole speech poetic in its rendition and philosophic in its content.

Bangalore.

Dear Sir,
Namste :pray2:
The message resembles the teaching of Gita.

Everything / everyone is connected by the supreme power
- as Lord Krishna puts it - "Sootre maNi gaNaa iva"

True! The earth belongs to no one - whether he be the BIG brother or merely an uneducated NATIVE INDIAN.

What affects the earth is sure to affect everyone living on it.

That is why we pray that "sarve janaa sukhino bhavanthu!'
and pray for Shanti to prevail everywhere, all the time.

This simple poetical message is supreme in its philosophical content! :clap2:

Thank you sir for enriching this thread with your wonderful post! :pray2:
