Rudaw did not state how Suha Ahmed Radi was put to death, but said IS militants held her captive "for days" after detaining her during a raid on her home east of Mosul, according to the Iraqi Journalists Syndicate. People Have Punished DMK Enough: Karunanidhi | Jul 07,2015

In a rare candid admission, DMK chief Karunanidhi today said that people of Tamil Nadu had punished his party enough and urged them to free themselves from the AIADMK rule. Free yourself from AIADMK rule," he said addressing a well attended public meeting organised by his party. Apparently referring to electoral debacles his party suffered at the hands of arch-rival AIADMK since 2011 when his party lost power in Tamil Nadu, he wanted the people to elect DMK again. Recalling a slew of infrastructure projects launched during the erstwhile DMK regime, he slammed the AIADMK regime, terming it "dormant" and "ineffective".

Nothing wrong in having a national debate. At least generation now and next will come to know how and why such decisions were taken. Vande mataram was rejected because muslims opposed it.

Earlier he made a similar statement - 14 year vanavasam is enough punishment. Even Rama returned from exile. (MGR kept MK out for a long time)

New analysis of smoking and schizophrenia suggests causal link

By Kate Kelland LONDON, July 10 (Reuters) - In research that turns on its head previous thinking about links between schizophrenia and smoking, scientists say they have found that cigarettes may be a causal factor in the development of psychosis. After analysing almost 15,000 tobacco users and 273,000 non users and their relative rates of psychosis - where patients can experience delusions, paranoia and hear voices in their heads - the researchers said cigarette smoking appears to increase risk. "While it's always hard to determine the direction of causality, our findings indicate that smoking should be taken seriously as a possible risk factor for developing psychosis," James MacCabe, a psychosis expert who co-led the research at King's College London's Institute of Psychiatry, told reporters.
