Think or sink!

Dear VR ji,

Can you imagine this??

I had a person walk in to see me asking me if I do abortions!(sick and tired yaar..this whole month I am getting such questions!)

I told her NO.

Then the patient told me "Doc I am married woman and this pregnancy is a within the wedlock pregnancy..I am no out of the wedlock pregnancy..so my case is not Immoral Abortion"

I told her "I don't do abortions"

She still kept on saying her case is not an Immoral Abortion.

After a while I told her "all cases where a mother takes the life of her own unborn child whether out of wedlock or within the wedlock is forbidden by the law of the country"

Patient left the clinic.

Only today I knew there is something called:

1)Moral Abortion

2)Immoral Abortion

What is the big difference?? Both kill the fetus isn't it??

Dear Renu,
According to the lady referred to by you,
Moral abortion has less sin attached to it
since it is conceived within wedlock.
The only sin committed is getting rid of the unborn baby.
Immoral abortion had more sin in it
since it is adultery + murder of the unborn child.
I am reminded of kavi Bharathyar's question
Is there any difference in the burning capacities
of small fire and a big fire??? :flame:
Is there any difference between a small sin and a large sin??

அக்னிக் குஞ்சு

அக்கினிக் குஞ்சொன்று கண்டேன்.-அதை
அங்கொரு காட்டிலோர் பொந்திடை வைத்தேன்;
வெந்து தணிந்தது காடு-தழல்
வீரத்திற் குஞ்சென்று மூப்பென்று முண்டோ?
தத்தரிகிட தத்தரிகிட தித்தோம்

What exactly are you trying to say?

I think I am still capable of expressing clearly what I wish to say!

Are you sure, we, all the brahmins feel the same way? Some of the posts here indicate that they detest having born as brahmins. So where is the feeling of supposed superiority arising from?

You are right. Many Brahmins do that. But there are others who still brag about their superiority - just by their birth as Brahmins.

You mean it is okay to feel superior and become insufferable just because one performs certain good actions at certain times?

Something is better than nothing after all. I do not advocate people to become insufferable or intolerable JUST because they are nice to someone sometimes.
Sila nerangalil sila manithargal???

Certificate???? Whoever is issuing a certificate to brahmin? All castes, creed, race and religions, except brahmins will get a certificate issued by a competent authority. From where are you getting these ideas?

So it is the absence and not the presence of a certificate that confirm that a person is a brahmin.
For those who have broken the shackles everything is okay, isnt it?

Freedom at midnight. So everything becomes grey and they merge together inseparably!!! :)

Secondly, it is now scientifically proved that one cannot float in beer.

If beer is denser than human being, it will actually help a person to float more easily. If it less dense then a person can float just as he does in water. If filled with beer both inside and outside, I am sure a person can float - if he remembers to hold his head above the beer surface.

Would it be okay with you, if they do the prohibited things wearing the poonool?

I am yelling and telling that they should NOT do it with or without poonool

Secondly are there are really two worlds?

Of course the world which has no restrictions and the world which has many restrictions. The clever person enjoys recklessly in the world without restrictions and poses to belong to the respectable world with many restriction.

Dear Sis,
Renu has guessed it RIGHT!! :decision:

No more clues please. :D

Okay Dokey!!

No more clues!!!

here is the story of clue!!! :)

Clue

Clew meant a ball of thread in Medieval England.

Now clew or clue denotes a guide to the solution to a difficult problem.

What is the connection between clew/clue and a solution to a problem?

In a Greek legend Theseus kills the Minotaur of Crete in a labyrinth.

He uses a ball of thread to find his way out of the labyrinth.

The ball of thread ‘clew’ has changed to the ‘clue’-

the guide to the solution of a difficult problem.

By the way how do you know that Dr. Renu has guessed it right???

மெய்யான ஐயம் இது!!! (A genuine doubt!!!)

When my elder son joined I.I.T he picked up an expression from his friends and started suing it

randomly. I asked him whether he knew the meaning of the expression he was using so freely.

He said he did not actually know the meaning but since everyone was using it, he guessed that it

must be o.k. to use it. I told him NEVER to use a word the meaning of which he does not know

correctly. To this day I insist on this rule and I myself follow it religiously. :)

The motto is WHEN IN DOUBT.... DON'T DO IT!!! :nono:
