[h=3]The beatification of Sonia Gandhi[/h]The Red Sari is a "dramatised biography" of Sonia Gandhi. It has, at long last, been released - many years after legal threats from the Congress first kept it from our shelves. dear Mr. sarang,
When something is already perfect,
there is no scope of any improvement
and hence nothing more need be done
(or can be done) on it by anyone.
So it is absolute stillness.
Anything not moving will stagnate
and anything that is stagnant will die!

Dear Mrs Visalakshi Ramani,
Namaste,
Agreed. As per my understanding that is what the statement means. Swami Chinmayananda used to tell "If some one feels that he/she has achieved the ultimate and put a cork, then he/she cannot progress further. We would not have got a Sankara, Ramanuja or Madhva. There is always space for futher thinking in our spiritual advancement."

Dear Sir,
Namaste! :pray2:

NOTHING can be perfect except the supreme power in Nature.

Man keeps trying to evolve and improve in every field.

That leads to progress in knowledge and new discoveries /inventions all the time.

The younger generation stands on the shoulders of their elder generation

- reaching farther and higher than their ancestors.

I would put the same concept in a lighter vein.

"He who sits on his laurels is wearing it at the wrong end!" :)
