Think or sink!

But there was one person whom no one can either forget or forgive!!!
He was the priest in the Hanuman temple.
He could serve one teaspoon of ghee for a crowd of 100.
He would pour the molten ghee from a height and
catch it in the same spoon before it falls on the leaf.
So he would go on serving without spilling even
one drop of ghee on the leaf of any person. :thumb:
THAT was really the Art of Living and Giving! :)

Even if the twice-a-week oil bath is delayed by one single day
the scalp stars itching and needs scratching - which will look
very very uncivilized and uncouth.

I can't help wondering how the people who divide their hair in to several sections ( and plait each section securing the end with colorful beads) manage to do without (or manage to have) their essential hair wash.

If they decide to get it done how long will it take them to unwind the plaits, wash the hair, dry it, divide it and redo the plaits???

We could give our little darlings only the decorted 7'x4' Pirates' Boat
for reading/ playing/ watching Sophia episodes. :(

But they have offered us the guest house attached to their new home.
And they are so excited about giving us our place to stay during our next visit.

In their previous home and during our previous visits, we literally lived on our suitcases - since the house had no free space to spare for keeping our things.

I met a girl at a wedding reception, who had beads decoration also along with this kind of plaits.

I asked how often she washes her hair. She replied that she washes frequently, without disturbing the plaits!

 , Right?

My dear Raji,

So the hair is washed and DRIED without disturbing the plaits!

What kind of a hair wash will it be .. an eyewash???

Drywash perhaps. Powder and blow dry.

Incidentally we were told when young that the british took bath only once a week. Difficult to believe and accept. But when I first took a bedsit acco in UK, the house had no bathroom. Either go to the public bath or use the university facilities as and when required. Daily bath was a big strain on time and effort.

I know an aunty who beleives in dry wash or
powder it and blow it technique.

She would sniff a blouse and decide on
the powder needed to make it smell good.

She has great olfactory nerve!!! :thumb:

But it can be not be done in the hair/ plaits
since the powder will stick to the hair and
render the pretty young thing a virtual Avvaiyaar! :tsk:

Does a bedsit accomodation allow one ONLY to sit/sleep in the bed???
I remember the less than 40 sq feet apartment in Hong Kong
which is considered a luxury and it just had a bed with no space
to walk by/ around it and a mini bath room. :tsk:

When the name of the person and the place he/she lives in

is one and the same, THEN things become interting.

They are remembered better and recognized better!

A cool scheme to become popular in the easy way!!!

The two names need not be identical.
They can be simply rhyming as Puna Bhuvana,
Chennai Senthalir, Mathurai Maadavan.
Names are alwyas interesting.
My own name could have been
Visakha Visala.

Our eyes light up when we see persons we like and
become clouded and dark when we see
those whom we want to avoid at all costs.

Today the eyes of my two little angels shone like 1000W bulbs
since they were visited by a person who is as close to
my elder son as his own younger brother. :)

Every lady becomes beautiful when seen
in a candle light for the same reason.

Her eyes dilate and shine in the dim light.
Also the minor flaws in her face do not show up.

Small wonder most of the successful proposals
happen after a stumptuous candle light dinner.

Was she alone on the rooftop??? :suspicious:

[h=3]A startup founder reportedly jumped to her death from the top of New York City rooftop bar 230 Fifth[/h] A startup founder and iOS developer jumped to her death from a rooftop bar on Monday night, police and onlookers told the New York Post.
