Think or sink!

But the background is interesting. In new airports were built expecting a big increase and shift in tourist traffic which did not happen. The airports were not used even once. In germany, berlin airport was 80% complete on schedule, but when it was found that the next generation of aircrafts cannot land, plans were revised, subcontractors including siemens revolted, bills not settled and further work halted.

I think no one was even injured in the false ceiling or glass pane shatter of chennai airport, despite the frequency.

I can understand and tolerate Airports which are built and ready but are not being used.

But Airport which are being used crumbling on the heads of the passengers....:scared:

But with the availability of numerous transparent glass-like materials which are also shatter-proof, it is surprising that the same old glass panes are being replaced everytime in Gazzini style - WITHOUT looking for a more suitable and safer alternative!

A video chat is a virtual visit to someone's house.
Instead of visiting in person we visit through the P.C.
We may look two dimensional but that does render us unreal.
We still think the same, feel the same and are the same.
So being ignored during a chat = Being ignored in person during our visit. :hand:

Children learn a lot from their parents - both from their spoken words
as well from their behaviour and silent body language.

So do NOT cheat yourself thinking that you are not corruprting
your kids by NOT openly talking bad things about someone.

The story of a Hen Pecked Husband (H.P.H)

A swamiji was lecturing about the control a 5 feet tall woman can apply on a 6 foot tall man weighing one and half times as herself - using her expressive face and a vast vocabulary.

He wanted to know how many of the men present there were not H.P.H . He asked them to step aside from the rest of the crowd.

All men but one who were there, remained as still as statues with their heads hung low. One short chirpy man bolted away from the crowd and stood all alone by himself.

The swmiji and the rest of the crowd were elated that one out of so many hundreds of men was bold enough to express that he was not a H.P.H!

But their joy was short lived when the man blurted out loudly and cheefrully so that every one can hear him, :horn:

"My wife told me be to aloof from the crowd always!" :becky:
("Hamesha beed se alag rahna!) :faint:

Our friend from four decades told us once,
"Even whe the women were uneducated and confined to the house, they could exert tremendous control on their husband through food and bed. Now that they are eudcated and liberated SKY is the limit!" :hail:....:whip:

Th population is growing in neither Arithmatic Progression
nor Geometric Progession!
It is in fact dwindling down in some inexplicable ratio.
My friend has three sons.
The three sons put together have only one child since
two of the Ds.I.L decided not have any issues
which will become major issues later on.
My parents had five chidren.
Together these five have seven children.
Together those seven may have ~10 children.
Small wonder minorities are becoming majorities
in majority of the countries and states. :bump2:

Gone are the days when more heads meant more working hands
and more working hands meant more money for the family expenses.
Now more heads means more unemployment, more desperate people,
more thefts, more crimes, more cheating and more looting! :(

I am surprized that a new generation is emerging among women
who want a husband / live in companion, but do not want any children.
Why marry at all if no children are in the agenda???
Isn't the very idea of marriage producing lawful citizens of the future???

I am not talking about the women in the Western Countries
where bringing up children well will burn a hole in the pocket.
I am talking about the very very Indian and brahmin community. :(

In another family the parents have five children.(1G)
Those five children put together have only 5 children. (2G)
These five children put together have only three children now. (3G)
If it had been a G.P there must have been 125 children in the third generation!

Dear VR ji,

I feel the idea of marriage is too seek a companion for life.

Children are Shaadi Ke Side Effects..its entirely optional to go tru these side effects or opt not to experience these.

So I guess its up to the couple to decide the best for themselves.

But Renu,
The 'side-effect' only holds together the two separate entities and keep then coonected for a life time. Otherwise life will become meaningless. They will always remain two loose ends be ready to go their own ways sooner or later.
Not getting the children is different from not opting for children :(
May be they feel that children are too much responsibility/ nuisance.

Children don't connect the parents! If so, why so many divorces happen after child / children are born?
Renu writes about a divorced lady who gives alimony to her ex-husband, to bring up their children!

BTW, we know couples without children (not opted by them, of course) bonded better than fevicol! ;)

P.S: May be, the DINK couples think like Jurassic Park movie hero: ''Kids are noisy and expensive''!

Dear Raji,
Whether or not the children connect the parents depends on the children and their parents themselves.
Divorces happen even when there are children. True! But there will be more divorces IF there were no children.
The fear of losing the custody of the children and get separated from them may increase the tolerance level in a trouble marriage.
After all most divorces happen because of lack of tolerance or acceptance of the partner as he/she is!
As for children being noisy and costly, I bet they are worth it. :)
Can you imagine world without any children to brighten it up?
The only other thing that can be compared to this kind of world
may be a world without any flowers!
Remember " The earth laughs in flowers!"

#1671b. Where children are not, the Heaven is not!

Unmarried women seem to prefer rabbits which can't have babies (just like themselves) :(

Otherwise the bunnies will breed so fast that the owner will be thrown out of the home literally and figuratively. :bump2:

They drop resins all over the place. They fight among themselves and pee a lot in their tubs. :yuck:

No pet is as clean as a cat. But a cat owns the house and the owner of the cat and the house in addition to it.

Dogs are loyal but noisy and boisterous.

Nothing like human children to play with happily - teaching them and learning from them.

Some highly educated and utterly selfish women consider that
bringing up children is a mere waste of time. :clock:

I really wish that their parents had also thought on the same line
and taken sufficient precaution at the right time!
