Think or sink!

Waist forms the equator of the human body.

All things above the waist are noble and respectable.

All things below the waist are so so respectable! :)

So Gold is worn above the waist.

Silver goes both above and blow the waist.

Right hand is used for all cleaning above the waist.

Left hand is used for all cleaning below the waist!

In the morning as soon as we get up

we are supposed to look at out right palm.

where LAKSHMI DEVI IS SUPPOSED TO RESIDE.

The popular Tamil dialogue

"உம் மூஞ்சிலே எம் பீச்சாங்கையை வைக்க!"

shows the respect we have for the left hand

as well as the person to whom these words are uttered! :)

Sisters!:):):) !

Do we need to start giving ratings? :)

Regards,
KRS

Oh! Is it so??

Don't you use left hand for cleaning the upper part of the body and

right hand for cleaning the lower part of the body while taking bath?

And, use only the right hand for your hair-do?

I thought that the Indian way of greeting / praying like  is to show that

both hands are equally important to us! What do you say?? :becky:

Shall I tell you truth???
Since i do not bathe under a shower,
I am forced to use my right hand
to scrub the left side of my body
and the other way too. :)
Hair-do does not fall under cleaning!
Hair wash needs the help of both the hands
right hand for pouring the water and left for rinsing the hair.

But the left hand is invariably used to
pick the glue from the eyes,
to blow the cold storage from the nose,
to dig into the ears,
to scratch the itchy areas,
and clean the areas after finishing
both the Tamil pee and the English pee!

No voyeurism...only plain observation. :spy:

There is wise saying which goes thus...

never sit on the left side of a crying person
(since he may blow his nose on you at anytime)

never sit on the right side of person stitching with a needle
(since he may poke you with his needle at anytime)

No doubt both hands are necessary for us.
Try to tie a knot with one hand!!!

The hands themselves feel equal - neither inferior nor superior.
It is mindset of the man who owns the hands.

Again it is a kind of traffic regulation to make sure
that no washes with his right hand after defecating.

In a way it is good for everyone. :thumb:
Everything has a reason - real or imaginary!!! :)

......... 1. Since i do not bathe under a shower, I am forced to use my right hand
to scrub the left side of my body and the other way too.
2. Hair-do does not fall under cleaning!
3. Hair wash needs the help of both the hands
right hand for pouring the water and left for rinsing the hair.
1. Even those who bathe under the shower need the left hand to scrub the right hand!

2. I mentioned the hair-do to show the equality of both hands.

3. So you use your left hand to wash the upper part of the body!

Now see your post!

Have you seen anyone doing aachmanam with left hand???

This is sasthra and people are free to break this rule

just as they break all the other rules!!! :smash:

The couple seem to have got married secretly and now live separately! When some in-laws are able

to treat the D I L whom they themselves selected, so badly, how can we expect the in-laws to be kind

in a secret marriage! Anyway, the girl's plight makes us sad!

I could not watch the video since the circle denoting
the downloading was going on an infinite loop.
Now the parents-in-law have achieved what they wanted!!!:tsk:

Dhoni is really very intelligent!
Want to know why???
Just look at the sequence of his photos and
think what would have been the consequence
if the order of the photos was reversed.
