Think or sink!

What will happen if she

just walks out of the house to live one of the three sons?

What will happen if she is not available for ordering around

anymore?

After a while she will come back marching in to stay with her husband!LOL

You see there is a high chance when an older lady who is being dominated by her husband gets fed up and moves in with her sons..she would subconsciously "become" her husband and start dominating her Daughters In Laws.

No DIL will tolerate this anymore...so this elderly lady will have to move from one sons house to another and finally feel its much better being dominated than trying to dominate a DIL...she will move back in with her husband.

Dear Renu!
Sounds just like the famous Law of the Jungle!!!
Kill or get killed!
Eat or get eaten up!!
Dominate or get dominated!!! :)
What will be the husband's attitude after she returns to him?
Will he treat her better or dominate her all the more - to make up for the loss of time?? :decision:

That lady herself may say to our surprise...

"Intha sogaththilEyum oru sugam irukku!"

A chekku maadu loves to go round and round even when not tied to it.

A vaNdi maadu walks all night from one house of its owner to another -

even when he himself might be sleeping soundly on the cart through the night.

We resist changes - even when suggested for our betterment! :der:

Dear VR ji,

He will be his same old self.He wont change and he might tell her that its better to live with "dignity" in the husband's house than to be kicked around in a house of another.

Dear Renu,

So 'dignity' is getting kicked by one person in one house all the time

rather than getting kicked in many houses by many people sometimes! :)

She said she is losing interest in life and does not for anything / anyone any more.

I said it should be so since we are nearing the age of 70 years!

And Mtutyunjaya mahaa mantraa says the same thing.

We find several examples around us of detachment as the age advances around us.
But we never realize it should happen to us also sometime now or later.
Coconut become copra, vilaam pazham and puLiyam pazham detach from their hard shells.
Man should also do this willingly and voluntarily and
not hang on to everything with all his might and with a monkey grip!

Telugu is a sweet language.

It has thousands of words ending in 'u'.

Being addressed as 'Amma' may be objectionable for some ladies.

But no one will complain about being addressed as "ammulu!"

Sridevi/ Srilakshmi, Sripriya all become 'sreelu'

So right now R.R. Mam and Mr. Ram are having

a wonderful time with their son, D.I.L and grand daughters in USA.

The younger one aged 10 months is always moving under the furniture and over the carpets.

The elder one speaks American accent English and has become shy after her baby sister arrived.

So let me see how many 'U's are there in their house right now.

BAbugaarU, AmmulU, BAbU, KOdalU, BujjulU and GUjjulU! :)

Foot notes for the sake of those who are strange to Telugu

in the same way they are strange to Greek and Latin.

(1). These nicknames represent these people in this order

Mr. Ram, Mrs. R.R, Their son, Their D.I.L, The elder grand daughter and the younger grand daughter.

(2). Some of you might be already knowing about her visit to USA.

This is to inform about the rest of the crowd wondering about her sudden and prolonged silence!

Body language Never lies or fails to convey the mot secret thought of the person.

I have given an assignment to a person ~ 4 months ago!

It is always A.S.A.P ...which never seems to happen!

Every week has two days as weekend.

So when the person hides from our sight

it can ONLY mean that the

1. task is very well remembered

2. but will not be performed NOW

3. and the person does not want

to be reminded about it endlessly.

So let the good and much awaited things happen

when they are destined to happen! :amen:

Even the Vidaak kaNdan and kodaak kaNdan

have to come to part ways at some point!

Remember the case of foolish siblings who wasted
14 years of their precious life in useless litigation???

The seed of their endless fight was this!

The younger brother had been in USA
while their mother wanted medical care.

The two elder sister had taken care of her
and that has made them equal to or
even greater than their useless brother!

"பாசம் கொண்ட தாயைப் பார்த்துக் கொண்டதற்கு
கூசாமல் கூலி கேட்கும் அன்புக் குழந்தைகளே!

முலைப் பாலுக்கு அந்தத் தாய் உரிய விலை கேட்டால்
தலையை அடகு வைத்தாவது தர முடியுமா உம்மால் ?"

I try to converse with people in all walks of life whenever I get a chance.

They have different kind of wisdom since they had been exposed to different kinds of problems!

The driver of the taxi we had engaged for a long trip had some interesting info to share.

We know the proverb "All lay load on a wiling horse"

He is a good driver and drove smoothly and safely through the city traffic.

He had been the driver in a company before becoming a call taxi driver.

He joined as a driver and slowly more and more work was added to his chores.

He was asked to deliver goods and also meet people and collect goods.

He did not mind this since it involved driving around.

Then he was made to wash glasses and cups.

He managed put up with this also.

Next he was asked to clean the loos.

He reacted now since it is NOT part of his job.

He quit that job and has joined the taxi service.

He is happy with his job and the fat salary.

He gets respect and leave and leisure and is always in A.C while driving.

The Moral:

Sometimes it is good NOT to put up with all the nonsense downloaded on you

and REACT APPROPRIATELY at the right time and for the right reasons!! :thumb:

598 (a). கன்றைச் சுமக்க சம்மதித்தால், பசுவைச் சுமக்க வைப்பார்கள்.
598 (b). All lay load on a willing horse.

Naari Shakti is really great. :clap2:

The plump girl who married the mature groom is doing

more good to that family than I can imagine or had expected! :thumb:

She has taken charge of her M.I.L who has gone back to living in the past

and does not register or record or react to the things happening in the present!

AND she has managed to reunite her S.I.L with her estranged husband after several years!

Poor good man had been hoping against hope and waiting for her return all these years!

Incredible! Marvelous! Mind blowing!!! :thumb:

Moral of the story.
Marry plump women.
They make the best wives.lol

Even tamil films give the same message.
Plump women play the bhartiya nari suffering and working for the family.
Smart girls with a nice figure dance , seduce boys and take them downhill

Dear VR ji,

Who is this female version of Actor Visu?

Only in Visu's movies we see him capable of doing all these!

May be its a Karmic Debt from another birth...so she had to solve her In laws problems in this birth

LOL!

BTW in Tamil movies even item numbers are plump.

Is there really any slim actress in TN?

Only newcomers are slim...after a few movies they become fat!LOL

Even actress Lakshmi Rai used to look so slim and super model like..now she too is plump.

Dont get it why they cant maintain their body..after they get married some look like beached whales.

Dear mr. krish,
You are right! :)

Fat / plump women are usually good-natured, humorous, genial and generous ( like you-know-who!)

They are not jealous by nature and can put up with other slim women looking great outside (and feeling hungry any horrible inside!)

This girl caught my attention the first time we met in the temple merely because of her body proportions.

I thought that her girth may be more than her height. But that has NOT made her less great or less good.

She writes medical transcriptions and is familiar with the medical terms and their significance. That helps a lot in looking after her M.I.L who has chosen to live in the past with people long since dead!

The much older and taller and slimmer S.I.L had understood that her place was with her husband and NOT in between the newly married couple.

I am glad she could convince her S.I.L and her ex husband to remarry and settle down in life all afresh!

I wish God will produce more girls like her - to solve the marital problems in a non-martial way! ! :thumb:

Dear Renu,
I have always believed that Names either define people or defy people.

Her name means a thin line!It belongs to the second category
of defying the person's appearance! :)

Usually D.I.L in such a household will create more problems
among the members and try to move away to Thanki kudithanam.

The poor husband will be torn asunder by the three women in his life...
his sick mother, his single sister and his dear wife! BUT not in this case!

All the hot favorite right from Kushboo through several others to Namita

have been plump to varying degrees. I guess Indian men like curvaceous women! :)

Some men even wish to be smothered by the voluptuous figures like Poothagi Poothna! :scared:

There is a Tamil short story which I could not forget.

A lady from abroad would be traveling in India in a bus along with many other Indians.

One man would wish to have a SPARSAM OF HER FAIR, STRONG BODY AT ANY COST.

He would be granted his wish sooner than you can say "Jack Robinson!"

There would be an accident in which many passengers of the bus would get killed.

The man who had the weird wish would be pinned down by the fair strong lady's dead body.

Try however much as he could, he would not be able to roll her body over and come out.

He would then wish that he would give away anything to be not in contact with her body!

There is a lot of difference between a fair living person and a fair person forming a deal load!

I would trust a healthy [in north healthy means plump] woman to a lean one.

Even shakespeare in his work has Ceaser saying ' cassius has a lean hungry look. Do not trust him'.

So there is the trust deficit

Personal Money means independence to buy things we cherish and like to indulge in

and what may become rare when we go to the other countries.

So jasmine flowers are bought after decades of wedded life

(for the first time) by me with my own personal money!

My other weakness is the plain simple rice crispies ( callered as Pori / murumuraalu)

It has practically no calories and so is not a forbidden food.

Puffed anything is O.K for people who are themselves puffed up!

Nothing like a small bowl of muttap pori followed by a cup of churned buttermilk

to make one feel full without adding to the calories intake!

P.S.:

When my little Juju and my D.I.L come to India Jasmine flowers

will be bought and brought in 1/4 or 1/2 kilograms during their stay!

They both love jasmine and love to hang long strings of it on either side of their pony tails! :)
