Here, there is a festival to celebrate everything imaginable - including insects and bugs!
The crowd resembled a carnival but the objects to be admired were insects.

Fruit Flies have the tomato red eyes and metallic shimmering blue and green body.
The wasp extract smelled weird - though most people could not detect its smell.
Some of the butterflies had wings which shone like jewels.
I am sure they are turned into fancy, light weight jewels.
The madagascar cockroaches are made by God only to be petted.
They are very smooth with no wings or thorny antennae of the Indian cockroaches
Children were taking turns to pet them
I got a very original doubt.
Do these insects like to be petted by so many people for so long a period?
Of course they don't. AND they express their displeasure and stress by hissing!
Who would believe that cockroaches can make any sound at all and that too a hissing sound?
The hissing cockroaches are transferred to another box and visitors can hear them hiss
Fresh cockroaches replace the hissing ones - to be petted.
It as fun to read that "Cockroaches are not pests" and "Cockroaches are ancient".
I would have added this too "Cockroaches are indestructible!"
