The famous express I L U ( I love you) sounds very musical in German "Ich liebe dich!"

More info about "Ich liebe dich" follows...

"Ich liebe dich", is a love song by Ludwig van Beethoven that he composed in 1795 and first published in 1803. Beethoven was 25 years old when he wrote it. The song is occasionally referred to by its first line, "Ich liebe dich, so wie du mich". Wikipedia

Reflecting on a true friend - who loves not because he does not know about his friend,
but because he knows him truly well - set me thinking on shallow and selfish love.

Shallow and Selfish love is shown to get done the various things one desires.
Whenever and wherever Love is thin faults are thick!

All nouns are capitalised in German... not just proper nouns as in English!
Verbs which function as nouns in some sentences are also capitalised!
Klingt Capital! Right??? :)

But Universal truths are timeless and remain true forever as always.

The rise and fall of................

(The blank space can be filled up with
the name of any national leader!)

Was it something that he ate,
That made his senses go abate?

No one felt it till this date,
The fall that was in his fate!

In lieu of opening heart's gate,
It had made it swell with hate!

Advises come always late!
Even from a very close mate!

Who can save him at this rate?
It's a task too difficult to sate!

Man wants only honey!
He wants his wife sweet,
He wants his family sweet,
He wants to eat sweet meat.

Woman wants only money.
She wants silks so smooth.
She wants glittering gems.
She loves new fancy cars!

Man makes money with difficulty
The money sought by his wife!
But does the wife give him the
Honey he has sought all his life?

A proverb a day to brighten the day!

28a. Wenn ein Freund bittet, so gilt nicht morgen.

28b. When a friend requests, there is no tomorrow.

As a true friend one must help his friend even before he asks for help.
Having asked for help, the friend must not be told to wait till tomorrow!

He gives twice, who gives in a trice!

Use with care - if you dare!

True Education.

Every new addition,
Demands our attention!

No amount of caution,
Can control every action!

No one lacks devotion!
Is it in the right direction?

We have many a strange notion;
Which are no better than fiction!

Travel all over the nation,
Get down at every station!

There is nothing like a vacation;
The only means of true education!

Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time,

for that is the stuff life is made of.

Many have been ruined by buying good pennyworth.

All would live long but none would be old.

Quotes by Benjamin Franklin.

31a. Alles ist seinen Preis wert.
31b. Everything is worth its price.

alles = everything

இறை என்பது...

ஆணும் அல்ல!

பெண்ணும் அல்ல!

அலியும் அல்ல! :

Unwritten Rules.

What is offered voluntarily is THE cheapest;
The outcome of hard labor is THE crispest.

The unforeseen crisis in a life is the deepest,
To achieve an ambition, the climb is steepest.

Words spoken with love, are fruits the ripest,
Words of hatred, prove to be the sharpest.

To those who FEEL, life is a violent tempest.
To those who THINK, life is no more than a pest.

Winners and Quitters.

Lack of a person's Capacity,
Can be made up by Publicity!

Do not simply shun Simplicity,
To your words it adds Velocity!

Reaction may be pure Felicity,
Or at times sheer Ferocity!

One needs the power of Tenacity,
To
offset the others' Audacity!

The only way to deal with Opacity,
Is the liberal use of our Ethnicity!

Life is not rid of Eccentricity,
The tool needed is Authenticity!

ஞாலம் செய்யாததைக் காலம் செய்யும்.

TEST FOR GREATNESS.

There is always an acid test,
To find out what is the greatest!

Just check out for the latest
Number of sudden protest.

Life is surely a contest,
Winner always is the fastest.

Performance is the slightest,
When the heart is the faintest.

Why the one who is the brightest
Becomes an object to detest?

The one which rises highest
Is necessarily the lightest.

The one who is the smartest
Learns to remain the quietest.

One way to become the hottest
Is to control the time strictest.

Learn to become the fittest
Life will become the sweetest.

NEWTON'S APPLE.

When a big red apple raw,
Falling from a tree we saw;

We put out our eager paw,
With a very wide open jaw!

And feel like a real Shaw,
While at the apple we gnaw!

We might, for it, even claw;
We may not mind its flaw!

Our brains need to thaw,
To hit on Nature's jigsaw!

It took a genius to draw,
The great gravitational law!

In order to realize " Who am I ?".....
I should first know what I am not! ?

Today is my lucky day!
I stumbled on the beautiful dance depiction of Atma Panchakam.
I could get the words as well as the meaning of those wonderful verses!
What is the use of the most sacred message - if it cannot be understood?
The meaning of Adhi Shankara's Atma Panchakam follows:-

Athma Panchakam

I am neither the body, nor the senses nor the mind,
Neither am I pride, soul nor intellect,
But I am Shiva, who is eternal,
Who is completely unattached.
Who is far, far and far away
From wife, son, lands and assets,
And is the witness for everything.

Due to ignorance I think that a rope is a snake,
For due to absence of Jnana.
I ascribe life in to lifeless thing.
And when the realized one points it out,
I wake up from this illusion,
And understand that it is a rope and not a snake.
Similarly I am not the soul but Shiva,
Which I only understand by the teaching of the great teacher.

Due to the veil of ignorance,
I see this world in the eternal life,
Which has the form of truth and joy,
Similar to the dream which I see due to veil of sleep,
For I am the pure complete, perennial and single Shiva.

This world is in no way different from me,
Similar to everything getting reflected in a mirror,
All the world is within me,
So I am that Shiva which is without two.

Nor was I born nor grew nor die,
For birth, growth and death are for the body,
The nature of taking up a work is,
The reflections of pride and not,
For my soul which is eternal,
And so I am the unattached Shiva.

I was not born, whence birth and death came to me,
I am not the soul, whence came hunger and thirst to me,
I am not the mind, whence came passion and sorrow to me,
I am not the doer, whence came attachment and detachment to me?

? with my heartful of grateful acknowledgements to ?
