Beware of what you want to have!
Surely you will get it sooner or later!

I wished for the eco-friendly-nonstick-cookwares.
They save us oil and the scrubbing after cooking!

Lo and behold! I got a complete set of cookware
( for my golden jubilee wedding anniversary )
as a surprise gift, from my siblings, who are in India!

As they say, "When there is a will there's a way."

And it is one's STRONG WILL that makes
that WILL, which in turn WILL make the way! :)
 
Do thought waves get across without any
telecommunication devices being employed.

Of course they do by The Original Telepathy!
In purAnas we read of many such happenings.

Sage VyAsa tell his mother that he would appear
whenever she wanted him for doing any service!

kAladi Sankara promised to come to his mother when she needed him.
Garuda vAhanam appears whenever Lord Vishnu thinks about it!

In Modern days, telepathy is proved when two stone deaf persons
converse and seem to be doing perfectly well .......quite surprisingly!

Human life is too short to let him learn from personal experience everything he needs to know.
People who have already gone through those experiences are willing to share their knowledge and guide us. But by refusing to heed to them, we are choosing not to be helped by them.

When we present a personal item it will be useful only to a particular person
But when we present kitchen items, they are useful to the whole family
The latest addition to my kutty kitchen is a Dosa making Tava.
So more frequent Masala dosas / dosas / adais are expected from me!

114b. Whom the skirt fits wants t wear it.

The skirt will fit only the person destined to wear it.
There s a saying in Hindi which goes thus:

dhAnE dhAnE mE khAnEwAlE ka nAm likhA hai!
[ On every grain the name of the person who will eat it, is written].

Often we buy gifts for someone and give it away to someone else.
Circumstances make sure that the gift is received by the right person!

Some women marry men who resemble their family members.
I have seen woman who marry a man old enough to be her dad.

Often that man may also look like her dad.
How they live like a couple beats me!

I saw a woman's brother who was an exact replica of her husband.
They could have passed off for a pair of twins!

Does so much resemblance help the women to love more deeply
or mars the marital relationship??? Who can tell us this??

115b. Man proposes, God disposes.

Man may wish to conquer the Stars and The Moon.
But he will achieve only God lets him achieve.
Whatever man proposes and God does not dispose will surely happen.
The word 'Mensch' resembles 'Manushan' and means the same!

The forewarned are the forearmed.
A stitch in time saves nine in danger.

117a. Vom Regen in die Traufe.
117b. From the rain into the eaves.

This is the gentler version of the English proverb
'From the frying pan into the fire'

While trying to escape from one danger, we may get into another even more serious.
In the rain one will get wet but in the eaves one will get washed down with the rain water!

Are Family reunions very similar to travel?
They both are probably very closely related.

When we travel, we get to meet our other family members.
When the other family members travel, we get to meet them.

So the emotions of these happy reunions turn out to be one and the same.
For me it involves several spikes in the blood sugar and blood pressure.

Are our strong emotions also being circulated by our
blood stream - just as oxygen and other nutrients???

118b. A storage never hurts.

It is always better to have something stored and not need it
than need it very badly and sadly not bothered to store it.

119a. Wahrheit gibt kurzen Bescheid, Luege macht viel Redens.
119b. Truth gives one short answer, lies can make many reasons.

It is universally accepted that no one can be lie successfully all their life.
As they say in Tamil, "gettikkaaran poi ettu naaL mattume!"

It is said those who speak the truth need not remember too much - except the truth.
Those who speak untruths have to remember not just what they have told to people
but also what was told to whom, when, where and why !

It is one of the wonders of the human body.

It shows a spike in the fasting blood sugar ... both when
the medicine is an overdose or is an under dose!

When the medicine is under dose it is
unable to keep in check the blood sugar value.

When the medicine is overdosed and brings down the blood sugar value drastically,
the reserve from the body is released elevating the fasting blood sugar to form spikes!

To me it sounds like the extreme choice
between the Devil and the Deep Sea!
Or the Roaring Fire and Frying pan!
Or the Drenching Rain and the Draining Eaves!

What God had created to protect the body from harm, is itself harming the human body!
My Doctor Father was right in calling the human body 'A finely tuned musical instrument!'

IF Only the human body can be re-tuned as easily as the delicate musical instruments!!!

Most of us get into troubles / or grow old doubly fast because
we tend to do much more than what we are capable of doing
or much more than our fair share of the chores and tasks.

The Server becomes worn out and old while the Served Ones
thrive and remain young forever... with neither worries nor work! :(
 
It is true that we hurt most ( or get hurt most) by the persons we love most.

7. Blood detoxification and purification

Due to these important activities, the liver is exposed to a number of insults and is one of the body's organs most subject to injury and insult.

The Good and the Bad we do to the others will get duly returned
to us, by someone else, at some other time, and some other place.

God keeps His Equations very straight and very simple! :)

122b. Don't play with fire.

Sounds very silly when put down in black and white and yet
how many people play with fire and explosive fiery situations everyday!

They light fires; they spread fires; they steal the warmth from those fires and
generally manage to make everyone else feel miserable and suffer a heavy loss.

Fire is an excellent servant but a dangerous master.
There is an adage in Tamil which says

"Keep you distance from these three things...
A snake, A roaring fire and a crazy King / Ruler"
