192a. Man kann alle für einige Zeit täuschen, einige für alle Zeiten,
aber niemals alle für die ganze Zeit

192b. One can deceive all the people for sometime, some people for all the time but never all the people for all the time.

Does every wife really know everything about her husband?
Does every husband really know everything about his wife ?

Does the child know everything about its parents?
Do the parents know everything their children?

The answer is surprisingly a firm "No!" in most of the cases.
Somethings are kept in the dark due of any of these reasons.

The person may not like it
The person may throw temper tantrum and indulge in emotional black mail.
The person may not share the same opinion about the things under consideration
Or somethings are so unpleasant that they do not deserve to be shared.

So a Malayalam movie AlisinNde anvEshaNam was novel theme - since the wife Alice goes in search of the facts about her husband.

I think every person may have some untold secret - to keep the life trouble free.
Also there is saying that 'One should not tell everything, to everyone, all the time."

உலகமே ஒரு நாடக மேடை - அதில்
உள்ளோர் எல்லோரும் நடிகர்களே!
உலவுகின்றது இப்படியும் ஒரு கருத்து;
உண்மையும் இதில் கலந்து உள்ளது.

நாம் நினைப்பதை எல்லாம் வெளியே
நால்வரிடம் விவரமாகக் கூற முடியாது;
அல்லவை நேரினும் நல்லறிவுரை கூடாது;
நல்லவைபோல் எண்ணுவோம்; அது பாசாங்கு!

வெள்ளை பொய்கள் என்று ஒன்று உண்டு;
வெள்ளை மனத்தவர் கூறிடும் பொய்கள்;
விபரீதம் ஏற்படுவதைத் தவிர்க்க வேண்டி
விளம்பப்படும் இவ்வகைப் பொய்கள்!

கலகங்கள், கலவரங்கள் பரவுவதைக்
கவனத்துடன் தடுக்கவேண்டிய அரசே,
பரப்பும் பல வித ஊடகங்கள் மூலம்,
பலப் பல வெள்ளைப் பொய்களை!

குடும்பத்தில் குழப்பம் வராமல் இருக்க,
கூறவேண்டும் சில வெள்ளைப் பொய்கள்!
குறைகளை மறைத்து நிறைவைக் காட்ட,
கூற வேண்டும் சில வெள்ளைப் பொய்கள்!

உண்மை இல்லாது இருந்தபோதிலும்,
உலகில் விரும்பப்படுகின்றன இவைகள்;
வெள்ளை மனத்துடன், நன்மை விரும்பி,
வெளிச் சொல்லும் இவைகள் மெய்களே!

முதுமையின் பதுமை!

பால் இருக்கும்! பழம் இருக்கும்!
பருகிடப் பசி மட்டும் இருக்காது! :(

கரும்பு இருக்கும்! கனி இருக்கும்!
கடித்துத் தின்னப் பல் இருக்காது! :(

"பாதாம் தின்றது போதும்!" எனும் மனமே
பொதுவாகப் பொன் செய்யும் மருந்து. :(

தோலை விட ஊசி கடினமாக இருந்தால்,
தோலில் பாயும் தைக்கும் போது ஊசி! :(

பல்லைவிடக் கடலை கடினம் என்றால்,
பல்லை உடைக்கும் தின்னும் கடலை! :(

தோலை விடக் கடினமானது தான் ஊசி - ஐயம் வேண்டாம். :)

Define LIFE!

Life is that which gives one a comb - after one has become bald.
Life is that which gives one sweets - after one has developed diabetes!

Life is that gives you work when you yearn for some peace and quiet
and downloads peace and quiet when you want some company.

It is as if Life asks question, "What is this person wants to have?'
and give him everything except what he wanted in the first place!

193b. The child is the father of man.

We can predict what a child will grow up to become -
once we know its aptitudes and attitudes.

His great potential is hiding inside the child
like a mighty tree hiding inside a small seed!

Given the time and the necessary nourishment,
the tree will emerge for the whole word to see!

194b. The Devil can cite the scripture for his purpose.

One may smile and smile so very sweetly and yet be a villain.
One may cite scripture and yet be The Devil in human form.

Words spoken without sincerity mean nothing at all.
Man listens to the words and may get cheated.
But God looks at the heart of the speaker and not his words!

A close relative suffered from several problems associated with menopause.
But she did not want to undergo hysterectomy as advised by her doctors.

One fine day she finally agreed to get her uterus removed.
I was her attendant and was shown the uterus which had been removed.

It was deep violet in color - contrary to my imagination that all the body parts are either rosy or pink! I could not help wondering whether she prolonged her sufferings by holding on her uterus. But the story does not end there. She suffered from hot flushes and hormonal imbalance.

The same is true of our teeth! By holing on to them we become vulnerable to terrible tooth aches. But if we has them removed and replaced by dentures, half of the taste buds become useless!

What a difficult choice Nature offers us!

The willing heart will overcome all difficulties.
The willing heart will never accept defeat.
The willing heart will never takes "NO!" for an answer.

Maybe there is truth in the Tamil saying,
"Karaippaar karaiththaal kallum kariyum!

It is always easier to continue from where someone has already reached,
than start everything afresh from the very beginning.

Children reach greater heights than their parents did - since they are literally standing on the shoulders of their parents.

Often students shine better than their devoted teachers - since they can learn so much, so soon and so very easily.

Also man can think and evolve only in many small steps and never in a single giant leap from Nothing to the most perfect of Anything.

197a. Zufriedenheit ist der größte Reichtum.
197b. Contentment is the greatest wealth.

A 'poor person' need not necessarily be a real pauper.
He may in fact be a stinking-rich poor-man!

Whoever seeks to possess more and more of what
they already have in plenty, are the real poor people!

So the gang which belong to the now famous "99 Club"
and strives to own the 100th of whatever-they-want is eternally poor!

This applies not just to the material possessions but to everything else besides!

The artists of the past decades must decided to get down from the stage voluntarily
so that the young, sparkling and fresh artists can prove their latent and succeed.

I feel that though "Old is gold" at some point of time they also become stale!
New ventures and new attempts can be made only by the young innovative minds.

Why should be be forced to watch Seniors and Super seniors dance - when pretty
young people as-thin-as-tendrils and as fresh as flowers are denied their chance?

How long should we be forced to listen to the same songs, sung in the same rAgAs,
by the same people who-are-getting-older-all-the-while, all our lives?

I personally know the power Applause and Appreciation have on the performing artists. But at some point of time they must get satisfied with all these adulation.

The best time to quit is when one at the height of fame and very much in demand!
It is wisdom to stop performing then and start creating a new generation of artists.

Tricky questions which need you to think well before you answer!

If you want to select your Guru from these two, who will you select?

(a) A very well known and a famous performing artist
(b) A devoted teacher who is never seen in the public.

If you want to select a barber for having a haircut in a town which has only two saloons

(a) will you select one who is impeccably groomed?
(b) will you select one who imperfectly groomed?

Facial expressions reveal the innermost thoughts of a person. His smiles, his snarls, his kindness, his scowls, his generosity, his animosity - to name a few.

Even the best actor can not hide his real feelings for ever from our eyes.

Maybe that is why celebrities wear goggles large enough to hide not just their eyes but also most of their face as well! Their true expressions are always kept hidden under a dark screen!

Some people would not lift a finger but expect everything to be done by someone else.
Out of fear or love or devotion, some others may oblige to these lazy masters.
But it is wisdom to do our best and then seek help for what lies beyond our capacity.

Recently a man declared he would eat his neighbors if the lock down continues!
Poor neighbors who will live in constant fear until normalcy returns!

Many revolutions have been precipitated by hunger and poverty.
People who have never been hungry in their life, will not know its severity!
