....... Please watch the elephant procession during the middle of the concert - wish the singer did a kalpanAswaram of baby Elephant walk (from the movie Hatari) when the elephants walked- will be a big crowd hit!.......
I fear it might not be possible.

The tune is based most on the rAgam SankarAbharaNam and even with sruthi bEdham it can not be brought in ChArukEsi!

Here is the ever green tune:

Henry Mancini: Baby Elephant Walk (Mancini, 1962)

"Pi's Lullaby" from Life of Pi Music by Mychael Danna; sung by Bombay Jayashri got Oscar Nomination (2013) http://oscars.nytimes.com/2013/ballot/6vm9gytu

Great that Carnatic Music and Tamil lyrics are getting recognized!
Here are the lyrics: (from
Kanniks Kannikeswaran's website)
The lyrics are also simple, almost predictable; yet it is this simplicity and hummability that conveys the bond between the protagonist pi and his mother and provides a great start to the saga that unfolds on a 3D screen.

This rAgam is NirOshtA.

I think Sri. Muthaiya Bhagavathar found this and composed 'RAjarAja RAdhithE':

Priya Sisters rAja rAja rAdhithe - Niroshta - Harikesanallur Muthiah Bhagavathar

NirOshtA means that the lips don't touch and hence Ma and Pa are missing in this rAgam, a janya rAgam of SankarAbharaNam.

Here is a thillanA in NirOshta by Sri. T N S:

Thillana - Niroshta - Madurai T. N. Seshagopalan

Om namO NArAyaNA is composed by Smt. Ambujam Krishna and set to the rAgam KarNaranjani by Smt. Charumathi Ramachandran.

Smt. Charumathi told in an interview that she felt blessed when her Guru Smt. M L V accepted and sang the song tuned by her! :thumb:
