Dear Naina Sir,
All Gods are not portrayed as a Narcissist according to the meanings given above.
May be, we can point out to Lord Krishna who praises Himself as the Doer of everything, in B G!
''It is I who remain seated in the heart of all creatures as the inner controller of all; and it is I who am the source of memory,
knowledge and the ratiocinative faculty. Again, I am the only object worth knowing through the Vedas; I alone am the origin
of Vedānta and the knower of the Vedas too. — Krishna; Chapter 15, verse 15”

What do you say, Sir?
P.S: One forum member has strong objection to depict Lord Krishna as God! :nono:
I browsed this thread quickly, did not fully understand the OP (what I understand I do not agree with) ..
Actually Mahabharatha is presented as a poem of almost 100000 verses (longest in the world).
The conversations are poetic with precise meter which means it did not happen exactly as portrayed- and for Hindus history is irrelevant.
Sri Krishna is presented as Bhagavan by an author by name Vyasa. Therefore in the entire Bhagavad Gita there is not a single verse that says 'Sri Krishna said (uvacha)' .. It is always presented as Bhagavan uvacha and that is deliberate. The historical person Sri Krishna is presented as Bhagavan and characteristics of what this Bhagavan is, is presented by Sri Krishna - in that sense there is no praise of any kind
A fact as presented is often interpreted by the human mind based on the person's (listener's) own biases (likes and dislikes - Raga and Dvesha) . If Bhagavan is portrayed as being the cause of all beings, only a human mind with its biases will say that Bhagavan is being proud.
We run into this in real life as well. Once I was selected to make myself available for a Jury based trial. As part of the process, the judge asks each of us to say our name, our educational qualifications in detail, our job/title/responsibilities, if we have relatives as Cops etc .
The place was full of blue collar workers for most part in this jury pool for selection. When my turn came I told the judge about having two Masters and a PhD etc , talked about my work role and answered all the questions he asked me. I was not selected for being too analytically inclined by the prosecution and in another instance by the Defense for another selection process (which was good for me since this was a huge distraction).
One of the person I was chatting with earlier int he day while waiting came up to me and said 'do you think you are a big shot and we are all nobody's' and I was surprised by his reaction..
