There are enough charities and focused charities. It is not difficult to find a charity that meets one's special requirements - education, child welfare, veda patashala, scholarship for brahmins and subsects, women issues and even antim karyams.

Dear Sarang Sir,

You are absolutely correct. We can choose to which categories we wish to donate and do it right away.

Dedicated members are doing such services. :thumb:

There is a member from a widows association, who collects monthly / quarterly donations of money, cloths etc

from most of the residences in our area.

Its not discouraging but rather just being direct.

There might be others like DRB,STC, R2D2 or C3PO who might be supportive..that is good to an extent but at the same time harsh reality is also needed to launch any project.

So I would be happy if members would work harder now to prove me wrong.

Dont take my negativism in the negative sense..try to see it as a "Prachodayat"..to propel everyone in action.

But yourself and RR Ji handled the thread as a ‘Chit Chat Session’ and started making fun of it by one suggesting that 10 paise for every posting can be charged for every posting and you suggesting Rs.5/= can charged when one approaches a Moderator, etc, etc

First of all, such action of making fun of a serious proposal is unexpected from erudite personalities.

You have disappointed me by joining in this group.

Besides, RR Ji, as usual, has went one step further to say that after the ‘get-together’ organised at AM Ji's sweet home nobody has called her. Quite irrelevant to the topic.

Ask her how many Members she called on her part? It is not one way traffic.

When suggested that I am ready to Organise a ‘get-together’at Chennai and when the other Member suggested me to take some responsibilities, I conveyed that I am against cash dealings and promised my contribution.

Again in posting No.45 you suggested let the male members be active with the formation of the Trust and the women prepare Bonda and Coffee. What is all this??

Do you think that Myself and Rishikesan Ji, have no other work and we are simply marking time with a dummy proposal.

The way yourself and RR Ji have been dealing with the subject from the very beginning is childish.

Now you come to say that 'only faced with opposition does the human mind work better'. I am not here to believe all these.

I have said openly that I cant donate becos of restrains of an unregistered group and my country rules..I said this becos Rishikeshan ji did mention my name for donation.
So its only right that I give my reasons why I cant donate.

This is the most silliest lame excuse I have ever heard. Your country is preventing somebody from giving 100 Rs for charity? Why do you need to refer to govt? Looking for tax break? Then that isn't a charitable intention, because one is trying to take leverage out of that too. So next time when you are in India, make sure you get permission from your govt to give to beggars. Unbelievable!!!

And now look at the topsy-turvy post down below. One who suggested that wealthiest, people earned via illegal means only can donate, now talking this??? You are really unpredictable. Finally understood the concept of charity? eh?

While I am ready to involve myself, I will not spare anybody passing silly comments or criticizing the noble cause. I am deadly against such practices. I cannot compromise on this. Let them all realize to mind their own business and contribute constructive ideas, if any.
