Many read books about the concept of truth but there is a wonder
as to how many strictly follow it. But Bhagavan Baba wants everyone
to lead a simple truthful life on the path of truth. Teaching or preaching
truth to others do not show the light, some do give sermons too at an
occasion viz. in a meeting or in a Sabha, etc. but does he/she follows
is the question of the day. Hindu religion has many code of conduct but
none rigidly follow it. If one realizes the truth, life will be enjoyable and
can feel the divine presence in every one. If some one is thirsty and asks
for water; realizing the need, water is given to quench his/her thirsty.
Similarly, divine realization is also essential and it is complete only
when a person takes interest in the truth of existence of Supreme Power.
One should not neglect or forget dharma, god-consciousness, and has to lead
a life in a truthful way rather than pursuing a life in a way of adharma: egoism,
or in an ignorance of existence of the Supreme Power. Divine truth
can never be rejected or set aside and it will be realized by everyone
at one time or the other.

Satsang is a platform to nurture and develop spiritual feelings,
because spirituality is a practice of experience to gain divine power.
In order to gain spiritual experience, one has to have complete or
absolute faith in the Supreme Power. Spiritual experience is a
gift from the Supreme Power which enables a devotee to have
motivation besides perseverance in the path of true spiritual practice.
Once a person attends the activities of a Satsang, he/she
has an opportunity to get an answer to his/her queries and
he/she may not have any unanswered queries in their mind.
In the process, the mind will remain engaged in the thought
process that are being inculcated owing to the debate that takes
place in the Satsang.

[TD="width: 738"]Peter Rae, an Australian devotee of Bhagawan, has been engaged for some years in erecting a Mandir near his home in New South Wales, for the use of devotees in the area. He has described an incident which happened during an interview at Prasanthi Nilayam, when he brought a pair of sandals to be blessed by Bhagawan before they were placed at the Altar in his Mandir. He writes:
"Swami took us into the private Interview Room, where the sandals belonging to the Sai Temple of Peace were placed on Baba's cushion for His Feet. When Baba came into the room and saw the sandals on His cushioned footstool, a beautiful smile came on His face and as He sat in His chair, He pulled up the lower part of His Robe and held up His Feet. Then placing both hands as in blessings, palm down, He said: Three bags full, three bags full, three bags full.” One of the ladies, Valmai, asked Swami, what He meant by "Three bags full." Baba answered "the fullest of everything. The three worlds, Bhur, Bhuvas, Suvaha, Harmony, Happiness, Health, Full of happiness, Full of Love, Full of Santhi, Everything is there."
(The significance of Bhagawan's use of the phrase "Three bags full" was apparently not clear to the Australian devotees. Bhagawan was indirectly reminding them of the words in the nursery rhyme: "Ba-ba black sheep! Have you any wool?" The devotees had come from the land of sheep to Baba and Baba was giving them "Three bags full" of blessings, unlike the sheep in the poem which gave "three bags full" of wool.)

A Constant Connection ​

All the chaos of the mind will become still if you turn your attention from the ups and downs of the mind toward the silence of your soul.​

The moment you have complete faith in your self, you shall connect instantly with the divine power of the universal consciousness.​

The mind becomes restless only because you have given it the power to do so.​

​

If you have no expectations of perfection, then there will be no fear.............. and when there is no fear, you shall act upon the will of truth.​

Thinking is the phase between one's fear to follow God's will and one facing God's grace.​

​

God does not ever delay..................... it is your mind that has projected the fears of the future........... and has wasted your present moment of faith.​

The reality is that God has given you the strength to endure anything.............. it is you that fears to fill your self with that divine strength.​

​

You are afraid if others believe in you............ when you do not believe in your own self.​

​

The moment you fall in love with truth, you shall realize that God is moment to moment always there with you.​

God knows your every desire................ He knows what you ask and how much you fear for receiving it...........​

​

You seldom asked from God when you were a child............... you asked from Him only when you began to grow in thought and the purity began to dwindle.​

​

One wishes to test God's grace................. but never wishes for his faith in God to be tested.​

​

If you believe in your fears, you are with your focus on them, bound to make the fears turn real!​

​

God asked His beloved child, "Child, why do you fear when I am here?" The child answered, "That is because I think that I am alone." God smiled and said,"Then from now, My child, stop that thought."​

​

And instead begin to think that I alone am with you........... always."​

The second type is educare. Educare involves the deep understanding of the knowledge that springs from within, and imparting it to students. But today’s education gives knowledge only about the external world. Only culture or refinement can develop good personality and not this type of education. So only if education is blended with culture, it will shine forth as true education. What is culture? It is the cultivation of discrimination between good and evil, sin and merit, and truth and untruth that we experience in our daily life. It is also removal of one’s evil thoughts, feelings and qualities, and cultivation of good thoughts, feelings and qualities. Not only this, culture makes one broad-minded.[/FONT]

Human nature at times varies and it is not constant. Similarly
physical body activities, for some, may not be attractive or
may not have interest to participate in any event of spiritual
deeds. However, we have to pass through the karma, i.e.
destined in us. While emotions may tilt the mind of a person
sometimes, it may take sometime to dedicate oneself towards
the acts or deeds of Supreme Power and proceed in the spiritual
path. Some may have curiosity, but there may not be a proper
guide to lead them in the spiritual path. This is where true education
comes up to guide a person. As one gives or attaches importance
to health and welfare in life, one has to equally pay attention towards the
Supreme Power. A Guru can only unearth the knowledge of a disciple and
create a quest in him/her for evincing keen interest in the good
physical and moral deeds towards the spiritual path. As some leaders
work for championing common values amongst a particular society,
one should help to educate the devotees about the significance of
spiritual deeds through a Satsang by explaining the differences between
truth and untruth, papam and punyam, bad and evil deeds, etc.

ஓஜஸ்என்பதுஉள்ளொளி. பிராணனைபலப்படுத்துவது. தேஜஸ்என்பதுஅதனால்விகசிக்கும்வெளிப்பாடு.வெளியேபிரகாசிக்கும்ஒளி. பிராணன், ஓஜஸ், தேஜஸ்மூன்றுமேபித்த,வாத, கபகட்டுப்பாட்டுக்குஅப்பாற்பட்டது. அதைஅடைந்தவன்தபஸ்வி , பெண்ணாயிருந்தால்தபஸ்வினி.

மகாயோகிகள்,ரிஷிகள், முனிபுங்கவர்கள், மகான்கள், அன்றும்இன்றும்மேலேசொன்னதெல்லாம்அடைந்தபரமபுருஷர்கள்.

அவ்வளவுஅதிகபட்சஷாக்வாங்கியிருந்தால்அடுத்தவனுக்குச்சொல்லநான்இருந்திருப்பேனா? தபஸ்பண்ணிமனதைநிலைநிறுத்தநினைத்தநேரத்தில்மனத்தைஅடக்கிஆளக்கூடியசக்திஅடைந்திருந்தால்உங்களுக்குமெயில்அனுப்பிக்கொண்டிருப்பேனா? பின்எதற்காகஇதெல்லாம்என்றால், தொடர்ந்துஅதைப்பழகவேண்டும்என்றஈர்ப்புஇருக்கவேண்டும்உங்களுக்குமட்டும்அல்லஎனக்கும்என்றஒட்டுமொத்தஆசையினாலேயே.நாம்என்னசெய்யலாம். பேச்சைகுறைக்கலாம். நான்நாங்கள்,என்னுடையது,எங்களது, -- இதைகொஞ்சம்கொஞ்சமாககுறைக்கலாம்.எதைஉண்டாலும்குடித்தாலும்மனத்திற்குல்லேயாவதுகிருஷ்ணா, ராமா, கணேசா, முருகா........ இதுஉன்னாலேகிடைத்தது,உனக்கேஅர்ப்பணம்என்றுஒருசெகண்ட்நினைத்துவிட்டுசாப்பிடலாம். உணவில்ருசியில்,கேளிக்கையில்பிறருடன்வம்புபேச்சில், மற்றவரைப்பற்றிபேசவோ,கேட்பதையோ, குறைக்கலாம். நல்லவிஷயங்களில்நாட்டம்.புறசுத்தத்தோடுஅகம்சுத்தமாககொஞ்சம்கொஞ்சமாகபழகுவது. தூக்கத்தைகுறைத்துகொள்வது.எப்பவும்சொல்கிறபொய்களில்சிலவற்றைவெட்டிவிடுவது.விடியற்காலைஎழுந்துவெளியேவந்துஇயற்கையைரசித்து, அதைஎல்லாம்அற்புதமாகநமக்குஆனந்திக்கஅளித்தகண்ணில்படாதஅந்தஇறைவனைமனதாரவாழ்த்துவதுசத்சங்கத்தில்ஈடுபடுவதுஇதையெல்லாம்ஆரம்பித்துஎல்கேஜீயிலிருந்துபுறப்படுவோமே.

Sai Inspires

Service is the highest penance and serving any living being is to serve Him. Many do acts of service as 'social service’, not as a Sadhana (spiritual act). Through Seva Sadhana, Hanuman attained identity with Rama, just as the river attains identity with the sea. Arjuna too considered his every act as Sadhana to attain Lord Krishna’s grace. He followed Krishna’s counsel, “Mamanusmara Yuddhyacha - fight, ever keeping Me in mind.” You too should keep God ever in your mind as the pace-setter for every task you do. Serve anyone in need with a full heart and experience the resultant joy. It may be small and even unnoticed by others, but must be done to please the God within you. Every act of genuine Seva attracts the Grace of God.

Normally, we keep a light both at home and at the temple in front of the
Supreme Power. Mantras chanted or Bhajans are done by a group of devotees
in a Satsang. At the end of it, an aarti is performed honouring the Supreme
Power. This aarti is shown to everyone to enable them to seek the blessings
of Supreme Power, purely with an intention of purification of the mind and senses
thinking the Supreme Power for a second or more according to one's own desire.
As already mentioned, Satsang is a platform of positive environment in which
one can discuss or debate many spiritual issues. A Satsang can guide us
to follow certain guidelines in our daily life towards the spiritual path as directed
by the Guru. Normally in a Satsang, all devotees who gather share their views
and opinion to have a lead on the spiritual aspects and support each other.
In the process, every one collectively, proceed with the acts or deeds
as planned in the Satsang with the sole aim of attaining the Divine Bliss
and achieve the Supreme Power's vibration. In a way, it is also a service
to guide others who are new to the forum and that one should believe
service to mankind is service to God.

If one looks at Marigolds it looks very beautiful when sun shines.
It is the Sun God that helps to lead a happy life. Lord Surya is the chief
Indian Planets, known as Navagraham. One can see HIM riding a chariot being
pulled by seven horses or one horse with seven heads. Children are taught
about the rainbow on seeing this only. Lord Surya is worshiped at
dawn by everyone in India, mostly by Hindus. As one gets up in the morning
Gayathri Mantra chanted in his Name. Hundreds of Devotees do this in the
whole Universe and offer water to HIM for prosperity in life. Because HE
is the source of light and warmth to us. But for HIM, our life will not be
a cheerful one. Farmers take more care to do this without fail. Hence,
it is for us to remember HIM as HE also plays a very important role in VEDAS.

It has been the set tradition in Prasanthi for past many years to have Bhagawan entertained with the melody of musical offerings on Birthday evenings. Prasanthi’s rich tale of Birthday evenings has many shining chapters of such artistic expressions, especially musical offerings, where the NadaBrahma Himself would preside over the sessions, accepting the offerings…and for the landmark birthday occasions Bhagawan with His supreme munificence would allow Himself to swing on the Jhoola, only for the happiness of devotees and for the greater good of His creation!

Eversince the beauteous form decided to play hide n’ seek over 2 years ago, Birthday’s eversince take consolation, getting itself decorated with the Jhoola Mahotsavam, a most heavenly and auspicious scene at the very venue where He would grant His coveted darshans.

This evening’s programme commenced at 1700 hrs. with regular Vedam chanting. After the morning offering of Overseas activity report, in the evening, the Indian Wing of SSS Seva Organisations took their turn to offer reports from every state, combined report from the State Trusts and Organisations, at Bhagawan’s Lotus Feet.

Music was to follow. Bharat Sundar, an upcoming music talent from Tamil Nadu. Beginnig with “Naada Thanumanisam Shankaram…” Bharat went on singing for an hour reproducing some of the finest compositions that included Brocheva Ravarura…, Jagadoddharana… etc.

Famed Malladi Brothers, Bhagawan’s all time favourites for GuruPurnima and Birthday celebrations took over from Bharat and produced an excellent 75 Carnatic session singing many a customised compositions on Sai… singing the Birthday Greeting Song Bhagawanuda Puttina Panduga … followed by Bhajorey Sri Sathya Sai Rama…, Shambho Mahadeva…, Nagumo Mohanani… etc.

Bhajans continued and ended with Mangala Arathi at 2010 hrs.
