Another lesson to learn from this is No one was willing to come early at 5.00am to open the door for the truck driver and to help him unload the tiles.
Everyone was thinking of their own convenience and planned to come at 6.00am.
It was only Baba who showed that we need to be selfless and be willing to serve at any time.

I feel this is a very important take home lesson for all of us.
The miracle will be if we actually follows Baba's example.

Only a purified mind can lead us to the path of Dharma. We can notice people
praying to God for everything in life, may be from personal health welfare to the
enrichment and sustained happiness of their kith's and kins, because, primarily a
happy life needs always good health. While everyone takes care of mortal body,
people generally ignore the inner Self's need for spiritual nourishment. One should
have a clarity of thought and develop spiritual strength. If one goes through the
ancient literatures, Vedas very amply explains about the significance of Meditation.
Meditation focuses on controlling of the mind. In fact, in Bhagavad Gita, it lays
importance about the control of mind by the person who performs Meditation.
Further, it also explains that one who is not in transcendental consciousness
neither can have a controlled mind nor consistent intelligence without which there
is no probability of peace. Then a question arises, how can there be a happiness
without peace of mind. As seen earlier in our Threads, Mantra in Sanskrit defines -
'Man' denotes Mind and 'Tra' means to Deliver. In other words Chanting of Mantra,
is a transcendental sound vibration with potency to liberate the mind from material
attachments or conditioning. Therefore, one should practice prayer and meditation,
etc very sincerely with complete dedication towards God. If that is done, we can
also notice miracles in our life.

Never forget that every one of you are beings with a Divine spark within. The Divine Current flows through and activates each of you. One needs absolute mental discipline more than anything else. Mental shiftlessness
is essentially required to be corrected and aimless wandering of mind have to be
totally eliminated. Everyone talks of Will Power. However, Will Power becomes
useless, if it is not wisely handled. Mental, Psychological and Emotional effects
have to be overcome, if one is really interested to serve the fellow-beings and
needy people. Further the aim of mental discipline has to be towards wise
thoughts and feelings, facilitating the control the mind and body. One requires
to change the lifestyle too to develop a skill of devotion and attachment towards God.
The development of powerful skill requires, primarily, determination. The practice
of meditation is a powerful tool for the development of mental discipline. If this
is achieved, one can easily understand the Divine power in him/her and serve the
God.

There lived on the banks of the sacred Ganga a poor Brahmin, who was an ardent student of the Bhagavad-Gita. He read it every day; he worshipped the Book, and he tried to live according to its teachings. But his faith was sorely tried, for he was immersed in distressing poverty. His bowl was seldom filled; he and his wife were on half ration all the time.
One day, while overcome by grief at his misery, his eye fell on the 22nd sloka of the 9th chapter, where the Lord assures, that He will bear the burden of all who take refuge in Him. He felt that in his case, the assurance was a hoax and so, he took his pen and dipping it in red ink, he struck out the exasperating line! Somewhat relieved of anger, he rose and went out with his bowl.
Before long, two boys, brothers by appearance, the younger of darker hue, came to his door, with a bag of rice and a basket of sundry provisions. The wife was surprised, because they insisted that all of it was for her and her husband! She found a bleeding gash on the back of the younger boy, and when asked him, who had inflicted the cruel wound, the reply was, “your husband!” How could he lose temper so much as to stab such a charming child, she wondered. But, the brothers disappeared in a flash.
The husband knew nothing about the bleeding boy, he pleaded innocence. He wondered who could have sent them help. His head was in a whirl. As always he turned to the Gita for consolation. The Book opened on the 9th chapter, sloka 22. Ah! His eye fell on the angry gash he had drawn on that page, across that line.
That pen had gashed Sri Krishna’s back! His want of faith had “wounded” Him so. He ran about like mad, to discover the Boy and fall at His feet, crying for mercy. But, He could not be found.
So, have faith in the Assurance of the Lord; when He says, “why fear, I am here,” He means it; when He says, “I look to you, when you look to Me,” He means it.

There have been many lessons in our Puranas, about the true nature of God's assistance to
ailing true devotees. May be that God's glory is hidden and is invisible to all, unless one
faithfully worships HIM and voices his problems to HIM. We can take an example of Lord Parameshwara
appearing before the Lady to help her in filling the sand in the Vaigai Dam when she prayed to HIM.
This is one instance of unrelenting pain. Anything we do in good faith certainly yields eternal
fruit. It is an absolutely reliable and undeniable trustworthy event to prove that God exists.

Dust can fly if it chooses the wind as its friend; however if it prefers water, it has to end as slime in a pit. It has neither wing nor foot, yet it can either fly or walk, rise or fall, according to the friend it selects. Knowing this truth, the great saint, Kabir once said: "Here are my prostrations to the good, here are my prostrations to the bad." When asked why he offered salutations to the bad, he replied, "My prostrations to the bad, so that they may leave me alone. I do the same before good, so that they might remain near me always." In El Salvador we celebrate Jesus Christ's birth on 24 December. It is a very special day and preparations for dinner are made in advance and the whole family and very close friends get together. We all go to mass at midnight. My family is a typical Latin American family and we all go for dinner at my parents' house.
The phone rang at 6.30 a.m. It was my mother telling me that my father was not feeling well that morning and she wanted me to go over to their home. Before I reached their place, my brother had already taken my father to the hospital. I picked up a few things I might need and went to the hospital. My father was feeling very very bad. He couldn't breathe easily even with an oxygen mask. He was then taken to the Intensive Care Unit. At that moment when I looked at my father's face, his condition seemed desperate. I called Baba from the very bottom of my heart and I saw my father waving us "goodbye." The Intensive Care Unit at the hospital is located on the fifth floor and nobody is allowed to go there except people that have someone very ill. The elevator opens to a small waiting room, where I decided to sit with my son, Juan Carlos, who had just arrived. All of a sudden, the elevator door opened and a Hindu lady wearing a light blue sari came out. My son and I looked at each other and said, "Baba is coming to give us company." We felt so good.
I want to explain that in El Salvador no one wears a sari. It is very rare to see a woman wearing a sari. We were so surprised to see the Hindu lady. She had red roses in her hands. She came directly to me and asked: "Are you very much worried?" "Yes,” I said. "Is it your husband who is ill?" she asked me. "No,” I said, "It is my father." She said, "I am very sorry" and embraced me. She sat by my side and we talked. I told her how much I loved India and how much I loved Baba. She said, "I have my home in India and in America."
I felt so good talking to that lady. Minutes later my father's doctor came out and called me and said, "Connie, I am very sorry. I did what I could; your father has left us."
My father died in two hours with very little suffering and when I heard the doctor telling me of his passing, I felt my pain had been lessened in a very subtle way, because there is nothing that absorbs my attention more than thinking and talking aboutSai Baba and about India. That lady in the blue sari was the instrument to make me think about the crucial moments my father was going through.
Our gathering on that December 24th was very different from the meetings in other years. In the streets thousands of fireworks were being burnt. It became a very auspicious night. I felt the gates of Heaven were being opened to welcome my father's return to his Source. My father was not Baba's devotee but I am sure Baba wanted me to know that He was there to console me.

A Wonderful Family- Baba's Devine Discourse

You must always remind yourself that you are part of a spiritual family. Truth is your father, Love is your mother, Wisdom is your son, Peace is your daughter, Devotion is your brother, and Yogis are your friends. These are your true relatives who will always accompany you and be with you. When you have this kind of relationship, when you treasure such friendship, you will be able to break the bonds of the world and be free. Think of Divinity every minute of your life. Light has value only when there is darkness; it has no value by itself. In times of trouble and sorrow, whenever problems arise, evoke the principle of Divinity. It will certainly shed illumination and light in moments of darkness and bring joy to you.

To have the mind fixed on God in one’s final moments, is not something that can be accomplished easily. It presupposes long training, and certain accomplishments. This is referred to as Purva samskara. The mind should have gone through a certain course of rigorous discipline. That alone is not enough; the mind must discard all other thoughts as low and inferior, even as defiling. This disgust towards all other objects should grow in strength. When these two – disciplining of the mind and an attitude of detachment to all other thoughts are present, concentration on the Divine will certainly emerge and be steady during the last moments.

Unless one practices to Master the Mind, Peace of Mind may not be achievable. It is
an excellent and wonderful tool. We can notice people talking to themselves at times,
as they are not conscious of their thoughts. If someone has consistent or persistent
worry, ambition or anxiety, then automatically the strength of mind vanishes. Just like
money or life management in our day to day life, one has to practice Mind Management
too. This is an unavoidable or an inescapable one and one should not neglect it. In
fact, one should develop a habit of overcoming the challenges in life and conditioning
or controlling of the mind. This indirectly needs absolute concentration and bringing
the attention to the good deeds, rather refraining from negative thoughts.

Meditation only helps one to develop a calm mind. One must make this as a habit and
rather a commitment, as if a part of the duty. Once a person is able to achieve this
in doing meditation regularly, preferably in the morning and before going to sleep, one
can certainly achieve amazing results in life. Thus as Baba says, one has to completely
discard all inferior and low things and devote completely on the Divine power to attain
good results.

Desires and wishes go on multiplying; they never end. The fulfilment of one leads to a new series. Strive to arrive at the stage when His wish alone will count and you are an instrument in His hands. Do not cater to low desires; control your listening. The Gopis desired to listen only to Krishna's glory and achievements, Krishna's charm and pranks, His words and exploits. When you fill yourselves with love for God, you achievesaaruupya (likeness to the divine form you contemplate) andsaayuujya (absolute merger). Strive for that consummation, not for lesser victories. Live with Love, in Love, for Love. Then the Lord who is Premaswaruupa (Divine Love personified) will grant you all that you need in spite of your not asking for anything.

One cannot say that impure thoughts and deeds are just a temptation to youngsters
only, even scores of elders do get involved or engaged in impure deeds and acts. It
is also mentioned that people who perform good deeds take a rebirth to serve the
Society and God again. However, one should learn to control the desires from
getting involved in bad deeds and stay away from impure thoughts, acts, listening to
bad things, etc. Further, one should try to eliminate all wrong thoughts leading to
wrong actions to the Society and to fellow citizens. One should have to think sincerely
as to how to overcome impure thoughts and deeds. It is generally said that mind is
like a fertile field, wherein one should try to sow a good thoughtful seeds, which will
ultimately produce a good and clean/pure plant, i.e. life. In order to achieve a clean
life, one should daily chant God's Namasmaran and one should deditcate himself/herself
to worship the God without fail.

As Baba says one must come out of ego centered version. Once a person is
awakened, his dream goes. Similarly, when a person is enlightened about the
spiritual aspects, the concept of illusion disappears. Sometimes the concept
of ego makes a person even to dance to its whims and fancy. Ego centered
version of spirituality is not advisable. Ego is capable of converting anything
to its own state. Therefore, a person should adopt genuine spiritual techniques
to get away from the ego centered issues.

Just before the end of the War, Ravana could sense that Lord Rama was none
other than Lord Mahavishnu, who has come into this world particularly to kill
the Demons and to restore righteousness. Sensing this, Ravana, with his arms
folded as a gesture of submission prayed to Lord Rama and his (Ravana's) life
ultimately merged in Rama.

We should throw away all our unwanted desires and surrender to the God through
the right spiritual practices and techniques.

God is equal to everyone. The air that we breath is neither filtered nor blown
like that between rich and poor; neither sun light nor rain show its favourtism
between good and wicked people. We all accept the concept of Supreme Power
which is very powerful. God does not show any favoritism too amongst his
devotees. God blesses all those people who sincerely pray and worship HIM and
who are also humble in their effort to attain the bliss of God. God does not
direct us to be biased with one kind of people or show partiality to another batch
of people at the expense of someone else, as everyone is equal to HIM in HIS
vision. One should not pay attention to fashionable or attractive things just on
their appearance. One has to make an absolute surrender to HIM and throw away
all ill conceived thoughts, ego centered views, evil deeds, etc. In Bhagavad Gita,
Lord Krishna says abandon all bad things and surrender to HIM and HE will free
everyone from all sins. As Baba says, if one is able to achieve concentration
and dedication in the prayer or worship, one can easily reach the God's vision
and will be able to live happily.

SPEECH OF A SAI BROTHER- PART 1.
Below is the Complete Text of a beautiful talk given by Dear Brother
Satyajit MSc, MBA at " Sai Darshan, Indira Nagar,Bangalore on 25th
December,2011.

It is a Wonderful talk given by a very Dear Sai Brother who has seen
Bhagawan in close Quarters like very few have over the past few years.

My journey started in the year 1991- I was a Mumbai boy a typical city
boy of that age – It was on my fourth day in the Sathya Sai University
in the Brindavan campus when during breakfast I whispered to my friend
Sai Satish , “ what is this we get only 4 idlis here – at home I used
to eat 10 idlis!” After breakfast we were sitting for darshan and I
was on the 3rd or 4th row Swami walked straight up to me , looked at
me and said something which I could not follow, I went near and Swami
repeated it and everybody behind me replied , “IDLI!!” I was shocked I
thought Swami was asking what I ate for breakfast so I also said,
‘Idli Swami!’ Swami said, “Kitna idli ?” I was shocked I and Sai
Satish looked at each other in horror – Swami said, “Kya bola ? ghar
mei das idli khata aur yahan khali char idli?”( what did u say? At
home u ate 10 idlis and here u get only 4 idlis?) . I tried to be as
diplomatic as ever and said, “No Swami these idli’s are very big idlis
– nice idlis!” I was fumbling with words, trying to be my diplomatic
best. After that Swami did not speak to me for the next 5 years – my
sculptor had marked the rock for future sculpting when the rock was
ready for the hammer and tongs.
Then one day after 5 years -Swami suddenly hand picked me to
distribute prasadam, I went in obediently and got the basin of
prasadam. Swami asked me to give the basin to another boy and asked me
to come to him. I was kneeling beside Swami’s chair and swami was busy
talking to another boy. I slowly placed my hand and put my palm
underneath Swami’s feet. Swami was all the while talking to the boy on
the other side when suddenly His feet pressed my fingers with so much
force that I could not believe that such dainty feet could actually
press with so much force. This was the silent sculpting that He did in
front of such a large audience on that day.
Then again Swami came and spoke to me – I was standing in the
Brindavan campus, Swami walked passed me and whispered in my left ear
very loudly , “COME WITH ME TO KODAIKANAL!” I was taken aback and my
left ear drum almost burst out – I could not believe myself that I was
to accompany Him to Kodai. It was bliss to have spent time with Swami.

On another occasion I was walking behind Swami to the dining room in
the Brindavan campus – one big carton box was there, Swami told me to
check what was in it – I opened one flap of it and saw that there were
some pickle bottles there and I said, “Swami, pickles.” Swami said,
“Be careful – u might spill on ur dress, your dress will turn red” (
all these conversation happened in telugu ). I opened one bottle and
closed it thinking, see Swami I can handle this – I am quite careful
and efficient ! ( monkey mind) . We went inside the dining room and on
our way back Swami again pointed to the same box and asked what was
there inside the box, I again said in a matter of fact way, “Pickles,
swami.” Swami told me to check once again, so I opened the other flap
and I saw that there were tomato sauce bottles on the other side of
the box. I can never forget those plastic red bottles with white caps.
Swami asked what it was, I said, “this is tomato sauce swami.” Swami
asked, “What is that? – ( as if He didn’t know what tomato sauce was
)– so I explained to Him that it was “Tomato pachadi , Swami.” And I
opened the cap to show it to Swami. No sooner had I opened the cap I
was shocked because I have seen only Thum’s up and Coca Cola fizz out
like that, I had no idea that tomato sauce could fizz up like that and
it messed up my entire white shirt and soon my white shirt was red and
covered with sauce. I turned around and saw Swami was blissfully
laughing and saying, “I told u ur shirt will become red, so I told u
to be careful – I didn’t say that it would become oily”
Another day – Swami told me to sit in the car with Him – we were going
for a drive near the Brindavan campus. I ran and jumped into the car
and I sat next to Swami in the back seat. On the way Swami asked in
Hindi , “Swami se kya maangta hai?” ( what do u want from Swami?)
I said , “ I want only Swami” Swami said, “Krishna maangta hai, Rama Maangta hai, kya maangta hai?”(
u want to see Rama, Krishna – what do u want to see swami as ?)
I said, “I want only Swami” He then asked, “narasimha dekhne ko maangta hai?” ( do u want to see the narasimha avatar) I quickly said, “No Swami!” Swami kept on pestering then I decided to say something non
controversial I said, “ Vishwaroopa darshan maangta hai Swami.” ( I want to see ur Vishwaroopa Darshan)

SPEECH OF A SAI BROTHER - PART 2.
I was thinking at that moment what could have Krishna shown to Arjuna
that transformed him or did Krishna transform Arjuna’s vision that he
started seeing the same things differently – all those thoughts were
going on then in the mind of the 22 year old boy – Swami kept His hand
out from the window, his palm was towards the window and

He said, “Roz dekhta hai – phir bhi puchtahai.”( he sees everyday but still he is asking).
Then we returned back to Brindavan after the drive, Mrs. Indulal Shah
aunty was standing there, Swami was walking ahead of us and moving His
right hand – I could see His hand moving from behind. She asked, “Kya
hooa Swami – bache ne kya kiya?” (what happened Swami – what did the
children do now ?) Swami said, “Swami ka kam karne ka mouka mila –
bolta hai moksha chaiye!”(see they there getting opportunity to serve
Swami and he is saying he wants liberation).
Now we were in our last year MSc and we were all running behind
Swami’s car and trying to catch every glimpse of Swami not knowing
which will be our last darshan – As time was fast approaching for us
to leave the university and seek opportunities outside of the
institute. One day I was standing near the erstwhile Ganesh portico
when Swami came and asked , “what do u want?” I said, “I want u
swami!” Swami again said, “tell me what u want?” I thought to myself
this is the best chance to stamp my MBA seat so I said, “Swami I want
a seat here in MBA Swami!” Swami said, “ U want MBA ? then go to the
vice chancellor!” and showed me and sent me towards the VC . I then
realized that my first answer was right – from God we must want only
God – the moment we want something else He will send us there.

Another day – it was our routine then around 2.30 – 3 pm we would
follow Swami to the interview room and then Swami would take us for
tiffin. That day as I entered the interview room somebody whispered
that Swami was already there – as I entered I saw Swami in the form I
didn’t want to see – the Narasimha Avatar form! ( He was in a bad
mood). He had a letter in His hand. Swami looked at me furiously
sometimes the sculptor uses hammer and tongs to do the sculpting, and
asked, “where were u?” I didn’t have the courage to tell Him that I
was on time and that, Swami u came early! Swami showed me the letter
some people from the hostel had written complaining about me saying
that I was so talkative and how Swami chose me in spite of all this.
He said, look what people r talking about u, even the hostel warden is
complaining about u – I was extremely hurt; I fell on my knees and
sobbed and cried – I was panting loudly – suddenly Swami just melted
like butter, He held my neck and put my head on His chest – the moment
my head touched His chest my sobs just vanished – all my pain just
vanished and I was at peace. Then Swami asked me, “when u were a kid –
did u not run around naked?” I smiled and said, “Yes Swami I might
have” Swami said, “will u do that now?” I said, “no swami I wont do
that now” Swami said, “See that was ur sahaja swabhav then – now r u
ashamed to recollect it – No! similarly ur behavior before talking to
swami was sahaja for that moment now after speaking to Swami that
behaviour will no longer be sahaja then why should u be ashamed about
it ? u did it because of agyana .” I still remember how lovingly Swami
spoke to me and transformed that rock that day.
Earlier during morning darshan time I would pray to Swami to give
morning darshan – I would plead and request Him saying, “please Swami
lets go at least twice a week for morning darshan; see people are
coming from so far waiting for ur darshan!” Swami said, “do u know how
much this body has worked, palli palli tirgan ra , ippudu e shariramu
weak aayepoindi ra ( I have visited village to village, now this body
is weak ra ) hearing this I had in tears in my eyes and prayed to
Swami to rest , I said “Swami you please rest Swami – we will do the
work and u watch us work , Swami!”
Once a lady from Haryana group who were performing in front of swami
shouted, “I love u Swami!” Swami said, “Love my words!” – Yes dear
brothers and sisters we have to love and follow our sculptor’s words –
“BHAGAVAN OVAACHA”, we have to keep reading – we don’t know when we
will come across that single line – that single stroke from our
sculptor which will transform us. Till then we have to keep on
reading. Thousands of years from now people will read Swami’s words
the way they read BHAGAWAT GITA today.
Those last three trying weeks when Swami was in the hospital – first
week I was optimistic , I thought Swami will be alright- everyday I
dreamt of Swami walking around me and talking to me like before, then
the second week I dreamt that Swami was lying in the hospital bed not
well and in the last week I stopped getting any dreams of Him – When
Swami stopped coming in my dreams the third week I knew something was
amiss, I realized that Swami was not coming to my dreams and talking
to me , I ran to Swami’s bed in the hospital and cried and begged
Swami to come and give me a message and talk to me - I hadn’t slept
for a 3-4 days at a stretch and on 23rd April I felt little tired , so
I thought of taking a quick nap – No sooner had I slept for 5 mins I
heard Swami’s voice very sharply like the first time He spoke on my
left ear ( Come to kodaikanal) , this time on my right ear Swami said
very loudly as if my right ear drum would explode, “BE CAREFUL!” I
woke up with a start and ran to Swami’s room but something inside me
said that this was not good news.
Recently 4 days after the Swami’s Mahasamadhi was opened I was weeping
and sobbing at the Samadhi in a similar fashion as in the interview
room a long long time ago– but the moment my head touched the marble
slab of the Samadhi I immediately stopped crying and felt the same
peace I felt that day in the interview room when Swami had touched my
forehead to His chest– Yes Swami is still very much there with us!

During the Birthday celebration I could not sleep for 10 days I was in
a bad shape, I have been going in and out of depression since the time
Swami has left His physical form– my bed was never rolled – days and
nights I would be awake – during Swami’s birthday on 23rd Nov. an
incident happened which I want to share - we were busy decorating the
jhula, on which Swami used to recline.
On Swami’s Birthday myself and a few other boys made a ritual where we
go to the Yajur mandir and light a lamp in Swamis room.
On this day we sang a bhajan and also played a bhajan sung by Swami so
that we could hear Swami’s voice in that very same room again, sat
there a few minutes. While we were sitting there I dozed off and I had
a dream of Swami. The dream was of me lying dead on the floor and
Swami is giving me CPR. Suddenly I woke up – and i realize, BROTHERS
IT IS TIME TO WAKE UP! TAKE THIS MISSION THAT SWAMI HAS STARTED
FORWARD.

We are very blessed that we could enjoy and be in the presence of A
LIVING GOD – Those whose lives He has touched can no longer lead
ordinary lives. “THERE IS NO ORDINARY LIFE FOR US BROTHERS”. He has
touched all of us and made our lives extraordinary. It is now our turn
to carry forward the work started by Him and yes we have to love His
words all the time. He is very much with us all the time. His words
will rule the world for the next million years. These memories will
always be with us and energise us whenever we feel low – these
memories will take us ahead. There is no ordinary life for us!

The mike went off at this moment and Satyajit smiled saying this was
an indication from Swami indicating that he had spoken enough for the
day. OUR LIFE IS HIS MESSAGE Sai Ram

It is the mind that weaves a pattern called “I” - the process by which it establishes the ego and elaborates it into a multitude of shackles which is called delusion. The mind prompts the senses to project into the outer world of objects, for it builds up notions of pleasure and pain, of joy and grief and constructs a whole array of urges and impulses. It resists all attempts to escape into the Eternal, Universal, and the Absolute. It protests when the individual is eager to become conscious of one’s identity. But when it finds that the individual is determined to oppose its tactics, it surrenders and disappears without a trace! Diminish your desires – you will be free from delusion. Desire comes from attachment – deliverance comes from detachment!

First of all, delusion is nothing but a bout of confusion, a sort of unwanted temptation
and frustration when one is not able to achieve certain things, which is beyond the
control or uncertainty prevails. Sometimes, it leads to false belief and results in
incorrigible thinking. Normally, it is said that whose heart is absolutely pure, he/she gets
an enlightenment. Similarly, one has to get the intellect enlightened i.e. purity is
absolutely essential and inescapable. For that, one has to get away from ego centered
issues, ignorance of not-knowing of spiritual duties/aspects, jealousy over others and
any type of fear or apprehension over insecurities in life. On the same lines, a sort
of confusion or doubt prevails in the mind of a person. When once, it covers the mind,
automatically the soul too starts dwelling in delusion. If a person once gets enveloped
in distorted perceptions, his/her action also gets distorted. In the process, whatever
he/she does, it automatically leads to wrong directions. In order to eliminate it or to get
away from this, one has to concentrate on meditation towards God, to get the heart
purified. Sometimes, we get deceived ourselves because of false beliefs. There is only
one solution to this is that we should contemplate ourselves in spiritual activities and
study of our ancient scriptures or Puranas besides attending Pravachanams or Satsang
programmes, setting aside all our interests towards unwarranted short lived desires.

One has to be humble and polite when a person moves in a Society, whether
it may be rich community or poor community. In order to achieve a reasonable goal
of Service to Humanity in good spirits, one should develop Compassion. Thus One
should possess Compassion, affection and kind bigheartedness to all without any bias.
Further, one should have a broader view of aspiring the well-being to every one in
his reach including relatives, friends, etc. besides non-human being too without any
exception or compromise. Besides, one should not have prejudiced feelings towards
anyone. Social interaction brings cohesiveness. In fact, one should believe in spritual
activities and the object of a person is to analyse the way or conditions of a life of
poor person and try to help him/her, to overcome the struggle or problem by
finding out suitable or useful methods, despite the fact of monetary assistance.
As Baba says, by Sadhana through spiritual practices, if dedicated and devoted,
it may be possible to see the God (which is unpictureable as Baba says) in that person
through good and useful deeds.
