Swami sukabodhananda has head quarters called nirguna mandir at koramangala, bangalore close to my earlier house. One of his prog is called LIFE [living in freedom and enquiry] which i had attended some 7 years ago. The Prog aimed at focussing as to how to lead a life with its situations successfully. He is called as corporate Guru and conducts various prog all over India and also abroad. He also lectures on Geetha etc. He is into social welfare activities like school, and on some days poor feedings.You must have known of his prog being held in a hotel at Arumbakkam.Madras.
Sorry you wanted experiences and it is as far i am concerned "ok to hear him, inputs are worthy to follow".

Dear RVR sir, thank you for your confidence in me. Rest assured I am not joining hands with anybody. My comments were just some observations about people I know and they are good and decent people, that is all.

I have said many times that I consider myself a human first and last. I would like to think that I love all life forms. My opposition is only to some ideas, thought processes, systems, and actions. This includes deliberate deception in the guise of religion and institutionalized superstitions as in astrology.

I condemn all fraudulent activities with all the force that I can muster. All public figures must be ready to face a higher level scrutiny compared to the common man. The responsibility to come clean is not diminished one iota even if Maran had a hand in the exposure. Similarly, any other godman or acharya, however exalted and revered, whatever social welfare programs he sponsors, must answer for any legitimate charges against him/her.

Nithyananda has also been specifically naming Sun TV in his discourses saying their mega serials ought to be avoided for spreading so much negativity in life which I fully agree with. I avoid this channel like plague and the few times i channel surf landing on this channel at prime time you always find some man or woman scheming against each other or indulging in a huge oppari like someone has died. Looks like the whole of TN is addicted to these gut wrenching serials especially all the kizhang kattaigal (no offence meant). Sometime back, I had warned my mom and dad against watching these azhugai serials as real family life can start mirroring these TV serials after some time.

Without any valid proof,people write and judge god men/women.Whether they are able to judge their own self,is the lesson,i am learning now.

When the self-analysis has begun,the transformation of thought process,an individual undergoes,is an incredible experiance.Shirdi sai Baba,Mahaswamigal,Ramana Maharishi,Bhagavan Sathya Sai Baba,Ammachi,Ma Karuna Mayi,Paramahamsa Nityanandam,Dattatriya Siva Baba,Prophet Jesus Christ,Prohphet Mohammad,Yahway,Allah,Abraham,Moses.....saguna brahman,Nirguna BRahman.....have all been criticised and extolled.

Finally both the governments have closed the case I think. TN govt has said thats an issue with Karnataka GOvt and Karnataka Govt has not even filed FIR. Whats behind the issue? How it suddenly came out? How it suddenly went it? All the media have giveup their follow-ups except one or two... Even if everything is for for him, why he is still hidden???

One thing is sure, the fame he lost is lost forever...

IT would be noble for SWAMI NITYANANDA to face truth and accept truth if allegations are true. He can even adopt GRAHASTHASRAMA and need a noble life of adopting charitable works. His knowledge is not going to diminish. If TRUTH is faced without fear, moral strength increases. He can discard saffron robes and adopt some other colour with his pathni.

provided there is any element of truth in the writings,the telecasting,and the conscience of each and every individual wants to believe or NOT!all our rishis of various gothrams wore kaavi vasthram and did preach too...in fact their spouses were even more practical preachers in life.

It seems a well planned strategy and it is for the concerned to clear. But the level to which the media esp sun tv has gone is obnoxious. &they are trying to become the moral teachers to the people. what an irony. Every special programme of this Tv is questioning or taking digs at religious beliefs and customs of our religion. when people are under the clutches of mega soaps, they are free to do what they wish.

I do not know very much about the money and people related issues the eminent researcher from USA, Rajiv Malhotra, covered in the YouTube interview with Nityananda. But the question that was not asked sticks out like a sore thumb.

It seems the rape charge against him is absolutely untrue, and then Nityananda goes on to denounce all the rumors that are being spread by the media. The eminent researcher from USA never asked the Nityananda whether the tape was authentic, the denial is only about rape. Perhaps he thought his effeminate manner during the interview was enough to refute the authenticity of the tape.

dear nara,

if i were the swami,i would gather all the facts,before i pursue a legal course of defamation case.since the swami is an independent individual with his own common sense,dunno,what he wants to do,regarding the bradcasting & scurrilous writings.I am no mind reader sir,nor do i have the habit of judging personalities from the media.

Heck,i am all about knowing my own self,by myself,to be the universal self.whether its rama,krishna,siva,vishnu,brahma aka saguna brahman,had to undergo trials and tribulations in their roles on earth.paramahamsa nithyananda usually sports a confidant demeanour,a kind of know it all presentation in most of his public address.for me having watched most of the youtube content,this was also genuine by paramahamsa nithyananda.

Protecting one's honor ,character,dignity for some comes naturally,when they do not fear or covet for praise or brick bats.Having seen too many emotions in ones life plus others emotions in display,we kind become cocky about body language,speech deliverance and such behavioural pattern deductions,to submit a profile.

An sincerely intelligent person,would like to grasp the essence of the teachings rather than imitate a persons habits or indulge in caharcter assasinations.

But diversity is what makes us wholesome.

If one reads the biography of Paramahamsa Nithyanandam,its presented to be likeable and believable.But,if one wants to know did he eat,digest,excraete,had nocturanal emissions,dunno what to write further.Its a sick society which snoops on private lives,Indians have just got the nobel prize for it.Especially Tamilians.

srila prabhupada revolutinised the american scene.mayapur,west bengal,is a dream temple for lord krishna.but unfortunately srila prabhupada exclaimed before dying,he was poisoned,at least tahts what some devotees told him.iskcon,had to close the gurukula ashram in the west owing pedophile activities,usurping of the temples by a select click,and had to really battle a rumor that it is a cia funded covert operation to gather access into many countries.such is the power of mis-information campaigns done by vested interest,who want to protect their share of market in religion business or spiritual industry!!

the swami is an excellent orator and highly knowledgeable about multi-faiths,truly a gift of the gods,to humanity.

Prof Nara sir,

I think there is no illegal case if Nityananda and Ranjitha takes the following stand.

Ranjitha came to Nityananda in a depressed condition. To boost her morale all these things were done. Except hugging and kissing nothing happened.

If Nityananda says I am totally unaffected by any of the above, I am sure most of his devotees will blindly believe him.

Probably Nityananda can open new channels of opportunities. He may get lot of new clientele.

May be people like you and me are skeptics.

So the question of authenticity of the tape does n't arise.

However what Sun TV did is totally wrong. If the same technique is permitted, no bed room will be safe in the country.

Broadcasting it globally is a much bigger crime.

I think Nityananda and Ranjitha can sue the photographer and the entire media for intruding the privacy and character assassination.

Vitamin `M' will also play its effective role .

Blind faith could be exploited to the best possible extent without going through refuting anything.

Much bigger crimes in the past by fellow God men have gone for a six and Nityananda episode is much small.

I think I have given lot of ideas to Nityananda and deserve a suitable compensation.

I am sorry to say this - but your alignment of this with Sri RVR's is purely symbiotic. You banned folks when you were a moderator, simply based on the fact that you thought that they were right wingers. With Jamadagneya, about whom you write so much about, I had to ban him - because you did not want to do so. Sorry, sir. This is the reality.

You are a progressive with respect to our community, along with Prof. Nara Ji, and I have no issues with it. But the issue I have with you is the wAY you went about as a moderator to not be even handed. This idea about not having moderation was promoted by you, mainly to preach your kind of philosophy.

This Forum is for all views. But I do not think that you hold that view.

Sorry, sir. The 'victims' of Godmen in India, far outnumber those who gained much.

But then, that is not the issue. The issue is about using this Forum for such activism against some widely regarded Gurus, isn't it?

The real meaning of "Paramahamsa" is the one who achieved superiority in yogic status. Even there is a separate gayathri worship to these "Hamsa gayathri". Eminent sage like shri Ramakrishna paramahamsa was truly eligible for this. Marriage is not an issue here. How the morales are followed is the matter...

As RVR uncle said, with the jrupa of shri mahalakshmi what cannot be done here???

You seems to know the meaning of Paramahamsa and the special gayathri.

People misuse the name of Paramahamsa and are insulting the great Ramakrishna Paramahamsar.

It only shows Kaliyuga is deteriorating in front of us.
