Thank you for your feedback!
I have two options.
1. I can add the number suffixes 1, 2, 3 and 4 to the Tamil letters
and represent ka, kha, ga and gha etc as it is done in Sanskrit.
Otherwise I can add the Tamil proverb typed in English alphabets.
We call it Thanglish!

Which one will you find more useful?
Also this can not be done overnight.
I can take it up slowly after completing my other blogs.
Please give your suggestion.

Points to ponder!!!

"கற்றவருக்குச் சென்ற இடமெல்லாம் சிறப்பு!"

"உன்னையறிந்தோ தமிழை ஓதினேன் என்னை
விரைந்தேற்றுக் கொள்ளாத வேந்துண்டோ? - உண்டோ
குரங்கேற்றுக் கொள்ளாத கொம்பு?"

இன்னும் இந்தத் துணிச்சலை நான் இழக்கவில்லை!

I hate to leave things half-finished, unfinished and with loose ends!!!

Put up with me till I tuck in those loose ends and bid adieu once for all!!!

I always knew that The WordPress is my permanent home. :couch2:

I was dragged in here-against my will.

I will only be too happy to return to MY HOME

where I am well respected and feel wanted. :grouphug:

AND I am NOT the type who says :blabla:

"will go...am going...am gone!"

BUT NEVER DOES IT REALLY!!!

The option to Like a post has vanished too! So also the David's star !!!
You can't click 'like' to your own post, dear Sis! Please check for the option 'Like' in other's posts! :ranger:

The star has not gone with the wind, either. But, I wonder why the blogs are missing! :noidea:

Some people used to write only in blogs and not in threads!

Dear VR Ji,

Don't bother what others think or do.
Just give a damn. That's the best policy.

You know I remember once I got a proper scolding from someone cos my son did not want to eat what she had cooked.
You see my son is the fussiest eater around..he hates garlic, onion and spices.
He likes simple plain food.

So since he did not want to eat the food in that someone's house so I got all the scolding.
I felt bad and I went to the room and cried.

Then my son only aged 6 then came to the room and told me.

"amma why are you crying? do not care what people tell you.Let them say what they want.If you are going to cry for even this than for the rest of your life you would be crying..the only tears I want to see on your face is tears of happiness"

I was quite surprised that a 6 year old spoke these words to me.
You see sometimes God talks through children too.

So I always remember those words..so give a damn VR Ji.

Don't let anyone upset you.
Just follow my style..I know you are too polite to show gestures but I usually do that when I get pissed with any post!

Don't take it too hard on yourself.

regards
renu

In India, in Badrinath and Kedarnath, hot water springs are available where pilgrims are taking bath before getting dharshan of god. The water is so hot and contains sulphor and is told the water is good for treating some skin ailments. If that water is bottled May we call it as a Mineral water?

Source: Mineral water - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Mineral water is water from a
mineral spring containing various minerals such as salts and sulfur compounds.

The U.S.
Food and Drug Administration classifies mineral water as water containing at least 250 parts per million

total dissolved solids
(TDS), originating from a geologically and physically protected underground water source.

No minerals may be added to this water.

However, in many places, the term "mineral water" is colloquially used to mean any bottled
carbonated water or

soda water
, as opposed to tap water.

I WILL BE quitting (after all my threads are closed one by one) very soon!!!
Dear VR maam, i do not know the reasons for your decision, but as a newly joined person , it is rare to find a " சகலகலாவல்லி " like you ( my favorite word to describe a astavadhani"). Your posts & threads are always a treat to read and i hope like me the forum members also would not like to loose the gem amidst them. Cheers!!

Dear Renu,
You are a darling as usual.
The time I spent in the unwise 'wisecracking' in this voluminous thread :blah:
can be used up in a better way in writing posts of permanent value!!! :typing:

dear Sir,
As I have already stated elsewhere reading and writing have become to me
as natural and as necessary as breathing air.
I WILL continue to write, more, better and on things of permanent value.
If you can access this site, you can also access the wordpress.com
I will look forward to your comments, suggestions and opinions in my wordpress blogs. :)

I had no intention of posting anything or replying to any post
but it is not my nature to be (or even appear) rude by my silence.
This DOES NOT mean that I have gone back on my original decision! :)

Shmt Visalakshi Ramani,

You have really disappointed me!!!!

People left and people rejoined. All had their own reasons and justifications. Let it be so as each individual is different.

But, I was too confident that you would not be doing the same. You have your own identity and your presence here have its own value.

I would be happy if you continue to be present here as usual with all your verve and zest.

Off course, your health is of primary importance and you may need to be selective, keeping your health and time, in your mind. We would be happy if you could spare your valuable time here too, add value to this forum and help us learn many things.

In wordpress.com, things are under my control, like my own well organized house.

My presentation can enriched and the layout remains the same always -

unless I want to change it myself. People visit regularly to read.

They either appreciate or question but NEVER ever insult on purpose.

I think my varied interests were actually preparing me for the forum

but now the very same thing is held against me!

Health is also an important factor.

Family support is also another requirement.

My own Tamil Brahmin resents the time I spend in this tamilbrahmins.com and is always cross.

What is the fun in having the people who are cross with me at home as well as the forum???

By leaving this, I make everybody happy - myself included.

The Forum will go on as usual. Have no fear. :)

'Forum' என்று தட்டெழுதினால், 'போரும்', 'போறும்' என்ற சொற்களும் வருகின்றன!
இதில், போரும் வரும் :fencing: ; கொஞ்ச நாட்களில், 'போறும்!' என்ற எண்ணம் தோன்றும் :hand:

என்பதைத்தான் இது குறிப்பிடுகின்றதோ?
:noidea:

பொறும் என்று வரவில்லையோ?
வந்ததே! ஆனாலும், சொல்ல முடியலையே! (நடிகர் திலகம் குரலில் படிக்கவும்!) :drama:

dear friends!
Celebrating the 100th day of launching this thread with you all!!!

It has crossed # 2430 posts and has had ~ 24,000 views so far.
Thank you all!!! :pray2:

Thank you Mr. O3 for doing the
naama karanam of this thread. :baby:

I hope you visit this thread though

it beats me why you do not post here any more!!!
Leaving, after giving such statistics, often?
