A transgender blond kicked out of the Miss Universe Canada pageant is

She will make Jame Gumb turn green with envy!
Want to know why???
Then read on...

[h=1]Jame Gumb.[/h]
Jame Gumb-also called as The Buffalo Bill-was the main antagonist in the 1988 novel Silence of the Lambs, by Thomas Harris.

Gumb murders over weight women so that he make a “woman’s suit” from their skins! Gumb considers himself to be a transsexual but he is too disturbed to qualify for the sex reassignment surgery.

Gumb is abandoned by his alcoholic prostitute mother and lives in foster homes from the age of two years till he is adopted by his grand parents at the age of ten. He kills his grand parents just for the thrill of the kill, when he is just 12!

Later his modus operandi becomes this; to approach women pretending to be injured and ask for their help in loading something heavy in his van. He then gives a surprise attack from behind knocking them off.

He holds his victims prisoners and starves them until their skin becomes loose enough to come off easily. He strangles his first three victims and shoots the fourth.

He skins his fourth victim, places a Death’s head moth on her throat and dumps her body. He is fascinated by the moth’s metamorphosis- a process he wants to undergo by becoming a woman!

He thinks of his victims as “Things” and not as real people. Harris based Gumb on not just one but five real life serial killers.

1.Jerry Brudos, who would dress up in his victims’ clothing and keep their shoes.

2.Ed Gein, who fashioned trophies and keepsakes from the bones and skins of his victims.

3.Ted Bundy, who would wear an arm brace, pretend to be injured and seek the help of his victims.

4.Gary M Heidnik, who kidnapped six women and held them as prisoners and slaves.

5.Edmund Kemper, who like Gumb killed his grand parents “just to see what it felt like”

So five hideous monsters in human form have been rolled into one,to create the unforgettable and unforgivable Jame Gumb!

Some men are taught over the generation to view the women as slaves
to their self-centered desires. Men also has to know that they can rise
above this critical aspect and sad mediocrity. Men also need someone
to help and recognize their potential in order to blend their kindness and
courage besides strength and spiritual sensitivity. Sometimes, good women
show young men how to become a good person and a heroic in life. Why,
some women help young adults also to pursue a life completely devoted
to God and a lead a good life.

My left thumb became useless a few years ago.
It was followed by swollen left elbow.
Now the pain has reached the left shoulder
making it impossible to move the hand in any direction.
I wish my Mr. R were as thoughtful as Mr. R of the Forum! :)

I was away from this thread for some time, so I did not read this post earlier.
Sorry to read about your health condition. I pray for a speedy recovery.
Along with yoga, Acupuncture may provide some relief. If this therapy is not available over there, maybe when you visit USA, you can try it over there.

But for Mr. Raju, Mr. Raghy and Bala Anna,

the others are enjoying the well earned weekend!!!

When I consider how my light is spent
Ere half my days in this dark world and wide,
And that one Talent which is death to hide
Lodged with me useless, though my soul more bent
To serve therewith my Maker, and present
My true account, lest He returning chide,
"Doth God exact day-labour, light denied?"
I fondly ask. But Patience, to prevent
That murmur, soon replies, "God doth not need
Either man's work or his own gifts. Who best
Bear his mild yoke, they serve him best. His state
Is kingly: thousands at his bidding speed,
And post o'er land and ocean without rest;
They also serve who only stand and wait.

Inflammation is the root cause of acute and chronic pain, in rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune diseases. Pain syndrome is initiated by a long-lasting inflammatory reaction to trauma arising from past injuries.

One patient complained of swelling in her left hand, accompanied by pain that left her unable to move her arm very much. She had slipped on ice, fracturing her wrist a few weeks earlier. Surgery had been successful, but as she healed, the swelling in her wrist did not resolve. Instead, the swelling had extended to the whole hand, even increasing after her cast was removed. It appeared to be permanently swollen, reddish in color, and was usually warmer than her other hand. X-rays did not reveal any pathology that would explain the pain. Treatment with anti-inflammatory drugs like aspirin was ineffective; even morphine provided little relief. Her doctors began a pain treatment program. Treatmentincluded very specific physical and cognitive therapies that resulted in a 90percent restoration of hand function and a reduction in pain.

Therapy options for chronic pain are complicated. Opiates such as morphine can relieve pain, but they carry a risk of tolerance and addiction with long-term use. Anti-inflammatory drugs can cause gastrointestinal bleeding and kidney damage when used at high doses. In addition, these drugs are effective mainly for mild and moderate pain; they have a “ceiling” beyond which taking more provides no more relief.

So, the focus is to reduce inflammation. Doctors find that a compound derived from the metabolism of omega-3 fatty acids naturally reduces inflammation. Omega-3 fatty acids can be found in natural foods such as walnuts and flaxseeds, and have been known to be beneficial in reducing the risk of several diseases, including atherosclerosis, asthma, heart disease, and cancer. Their study also found that aspirin could increase the production of the body’s own natural inflammation mediators by catalyzing the metabolism of the omega-3 fatty acids into chemical forms that diminish inflammation. They found diminished swelling and alleviation of pain associated with inflammation.

Researchers are also looking into whether chronic pain might be the result of a learning response in neurons of the spine. Neurons change shape when they are actively involved in learning. Researchers think that when pain persists, the neuronal connections relaying that pain strengthen, making it easier to transmit the response—thus lowering the threshold at which something feels painful.

May be one can also use will power to control this neurological component to the feeling of pain? Mahatma Gandhi refused anesthesia when doctors operated on him for hernia. My recollection of this story is that he was reading the Bhagavad Gita.

Sri. Naina, Greetings.

I refer to post # 862. Thank you. Very useful information.

Fish oil is a good source of Omega-3 fatty acid too.

# 862.
My threshold of pain is quit high.
Thank heaven for small mercies!!:hail:
Also when I do something/ anything with full concentration,
I forget everything including all my various pains.
That may be the reason why I plunge headlong in to the Forum. :typing:

Dear Mr. Raghy,
you had suggested Fish oil even earlier.
But somehow I do not find it very inviting.
After all I have managed all these years without it.
So I will try to continue to manage without it.
My sons, daughters in law and grandchildren are pure vegans.
Let me be at least a pure vegetarian! :)
with best wishes and regards,
V.R

Sowbagyavathy V R, Greetings.

Reference to # 868. Well, fish oil was the cheaper option. All you need is omega-3 compound. As a slightly more expensive option, you may take 'flax seed oil'. Check for the dosage with your doctor, please. It is better to consume that oil without heating it. Like you may add one teal spoon along with kuzhambu saadham/dosai milagaippodi/ or direct like honey!

Cheers!

Thank you for the vegetarian option!
Will eating the flax seeds also help?

Yes, eating flax seed helps. But in oil form, I think it is more potent. Here is more on flax seed ...Flax Seed Health Benefits and Safety Issues - Flax Seed Nutrition I shall ask my wife more about this... she has a load of different packets of health goods. I don't even interfere with them; so, I don't know much. For example she has 'Hemp seed' and gives that daily to our children. Hemp seed is very good for you too. Here is more on hemp seed ..
Approximately 44% of the weight of hempseed is edible oils, containing about 80% essential fatty acids (EFAs); e.g., linoleic acid, omega-6 (LA, 55%), alpha-linolenic acid, omega-3 (ALA, 22%), in addition to gamma-linolenic acid, omega-6 (GLA, 1–4%) and stearidonic acid, omega-3 (SDA, 0–2%). Proteins (including edestin) are the other major component (33%), second only to soy (35%).

Mainly the time factor. If I visit all the threads I am participating in, everyday, I will be like the drunkard who cannot stay away from the TASMAC shops to the detriment of his family.

With eating all these SEEDS

can I hope to become chic as a chicken again???:)
