Think or sink!

Dear Renu,
I think you are concurring with my views that talent and popularity do not go hand in hand.
Any day Sivaji Ganesan was a better actor than MGR but who was more popular with the masses?
The same thing with Kamal and Rajini. Kamal tries to be perfect but people love whatever Rajini does!
May be I can add that Aamir khan may be more talented but it is SRK who is more popular! :thumb:

Dear VR ji,

The talented ones usually after a while make movies purely for their own satisfaction in terms of acting....and might take on movies with unusual or boring themes..I could not even sit through Hey Ram cos it was just too slow moving.

On the other hand Popular actors makes movies for their fans and keep them entertained.

That is why I prefer SRK to Amir Khan anytime...SRK knows what his fans want but Amir only knows what he wants!

Dear Renu,

You have put in a nutshell why some people (less talented)

become more popular than the more talented (and less popular persons).

THEY KNOW THE PULSE OF THE MASSES!!!

AND THEY DO NOT AIM AT PERFECTION!!!

The HEAVEN AND The HELL.

12.jpg

Do you know how the Heaven differs from the Hell ? The Heaven and Hell differ only due the differences among souls occupying them.

When a person visited the Heaven and the Hell, he found that they were very much similar. All the souls living there had long heavy wooden spoons tied to their hands – limiting their movements.

They can not bend their hands at the elbows and so none of them could not eat food!

The souls in the Hell looked famished and grumpy while those in the Heaven were well – fed and happy. What made this possible?

The souls in the Heaven demonstrated how they could achieve this feat. Each soul fed the one sitting opposite to him and they helped one another to eat food.

The story was contrary in the hell! Everyone was grumbling.”Why should I feed him? Let him starve just the way I am starving!”

Heaven and Hell are not outside but in our minds. The selfish persons living only for ‘ I ‘ and ‘ My ‘ create a hell and live in it, while those who help the others around them create a heaven, and live in it.

It is as simple as that!

She lived in the officers' quarters with umpteen rooms.
The servant quarters at the back ensured the presence and availability of the servant round the clock.
Slowly she became the BIG wife of a big officer.
Her only jobs were eating and sleeping followed by the next round of eating and sleeping.
She visited her three sons in USA.
She would leave her plate on the table itself after eating- to be taken away by her daughter in law- who was already busy with a job and home to take care of.
She would demand her D.I L to iron her silk saris every time she wore them
She would be always grumbling that she has to move the mountain of flesh (herself) upstairs to have a bath.
She did NOTHING to help them and everything to make their life harder. Finally one day the D.I.L took courage and suggested that she rinse her plate and load it in the dish water.
HELL broke loose. The lady cursed, cried and created a scene and swore never again to set foot in USA
I am sure NOTHING could have made her sons and Daughters in law happier than this statement!
Wherever we are we must be of some help and definitely of no hindrance to their existing routine.
upakaaram seyyaa vittaalum ubadravam seyyaamal irukkalaame.

Talking of carelessness and indifference, this will remain a classic example for many years to come!
The laymen found out the mix up and not the trained people who administered orally a vaccine
not meant for oral consumption.
AND polio drops are usually bright pinkish purple in color.
The people ivolved in this mix up must have been both BLIND and DEAF! :frusty:

Children given Hepatitis B vaccine orally instead of polio drops

Polio drops being administered!
Notice the bright pink color of the drips.
I was horrified to find a team administering the polio drops
with a syringe with a sharp needle fixed as usual.
When I asked what was the need for the sharp needle - which may puncture the children -
since we never know how well they will cooperate.
I was told that it is easier to count the number of drops! :faint:
