Dialogues of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj:

Question: I am an adopted child. My own father I do not know. My mother died when I was born. My foster father, to please my foster mother, who was childless, adopted me -- almost by accident. He is a simple man -- a truck driver. My mother keeps the house. I am 24 years now. For the last two and half years I am travelling, restless, seeking. I want to live a good life, a holy life.
What am I to do?

Maharaj: Go home, take charge of your father's business, look after your parents in their old age. Marry the girl who is waiting for you, be loyal, be simple,be humble. Hide your virtue, live silently. The five senses and the three qualities (gunas) are your eight steps in yoga. And 'I am' the Great Reminder (mahamantra). You can learn from them all you need to know. Be attentive, enquire ceaselessly. That is all.

Wife:
One who closes her ears air tight lest some good advice finds its way in! :hand:

Husband:
One who closes his eyes to his wife and ears to everyone else. :hand: :hand:

Action:
Making a child sit on the potty for hours at a stretch
(whether or not it needs to 'go') until something emerges.

Reaction:
Holding on to the precious contents in the body until
they emerge on their own (in an accident) in the living room!

Remember...
Every force creates a resistance.
Every action has a repercussion.

When does the 'tholai pesi' becomes a 'thollai pesi'?
When one son is chatting online and
one sister is talking on landline
and the mobile rings nonstop from
some remote corner of the house
in which you are alone by yourself!

What is an Unforseen Problem:
When some stranger tops up
your mobile phone for 100 Rs by mistake
and follows you on his mobile like a Shylock
until the same amount is credited in his a/c!

certain times of day are crisis time in all homes.

When many knock on door one after the other, simultaneous ,mobile, landline and online chats .

to add to it one is alone home.

this happens to me everyday between 10 to 10.30 am .

so vrji you are not alone.

Well put Sir! Though I was alone when the 'tholai'pesi' became a 'thollai pesi',

I am not alone in facing this problem - as you have rightly pointed out! :)
