Dear Friends/Members

I did not want to comment anything so far as the matter involved my two dear friends!

But now I do want to say something - otherwise my conscience will kill me! I don't care about the haunting I get because of this!

When the matter was happening, there were only four members involved including the concerned two. One person apologised to the other and the other accepted it with gratefulness, right?

I don't know why other member(s) who silently witnessed it, suddenly image their negative opinion against the concerned member? That too, they seem to have read what all was written evidently by the wordings of their posts!

I am not mentioning Ravi - I sort of think I know why dear Ravi posted what he has posted (other threads where his legs where pulled)!!

Either members could develop a backbone and comment when things are happening then and there or otherwise maintain wise peace! It is not courage to beat a dead snake, or is it??

Mrs. Valli need not have taken a round about way to point out my post! She being a bravest lady in this forum,

could have very well written straight away! I can not be sitting all the time with my PC on and read all the posts

in the threads in which I am participating, right? I had to register my opinion, since I wrote a few posts in this thread.

May be she is angry because, the post in which she wanted to know the meaning of a particular word went

I was also observing how some women members cornered not only the participation rate but many other "milestones" and was seriously thinking of starting a "quotable quotes" thread which might enable me to compete for honours. Then I thought of "one sloka a day" and so many similar methods. Have you any better (i.e., simpler) ideas?

Hey you are new to the post.. I guess we are all pretty much discussed a lot on the subject, not sure if there is anything else to say.. and moreover, nothing is etched in stone that says, members not indulge in some light talk away from the subject.

I am not picking a fight with you. I am saying that the original post had a specific meaning to the person who took time to post. The decorum expects us to keep to that topic.

If you want to speak something more important you should start that topic in a new post. It is not polite to hijack the original topic of the post.

If you say that is your culture, I am sorry I am not used ti that culture.

I think you will find if you observe in this forum, its the general forum culture where threads started on a certain topic end up being taken somewhere else. Its all upto members who post. Its not necessarily a bad thing. It can be very interesting.
