why do you consider this a சமுதாயப் பிரச்சனை! ? this is the way the world is going. for the good. what better way to remove casteist prejudice, and all of us to feel, as one hindus than intercaste marriages. i think this should be welcomed with open hands. let us not think backwards. let us wait for the new thread before we hijack it here...

Sir,
Apart from the inter-caste marriages, now- a- days especially the Tamils in abroad, thinks about the continental marriages which means make a relationship with the Asians, Africans and Americans. Of course, they are ready to tie-up their children even with the Chinese. Here, they are not worried about the customs, religions and languages. Do you think this is a good way to matrimonial?

கடல் கடந்த மூன்றாம் அனுபவம் ..... 109
பாஸ்டன் நகரில் செய்தது போன்று, X Ray எதிரிலே,
பாதுக்காப்பு சோதனையில் நாட்டிய Pose இல்லை!
கோட்டு, ஸ்வெட்டர், வாட்ச், காலணிகள் இன்ன பிற
போட்டு, அந்தப் பெட்டியைத் தள்ளச் சொன்னார்கள்!
கெடுபிடி அதிகம் இல்லாது சோதனைகள் முடிய, ஒரு
விடுதலை கிடைத்தாற்போல Gate அருகே வந்தோம்.
அடுத்த விமானம் ஏற இன்னும் ஒரு மணி நேரம்தான்;
கிடைத்த வசதியான இருக்கைகளிலே அமர்ந்தோம்.
விமானம் ஏற அழைப்பு வர, வரிசையில் சென்று நின்று,
விமானம் ஏறச் செல்லும் வழியில், ஒரு அதிகாரி வந்து
வழிமறித்தார்! வயிற்றில் பட்டாம்பூச்சி பறக்க, மனதில்
வழிந்த பயத்தை மறைத்துச் சிரித்தேன்! முறைத்தவாறு,
'தங்களுடன் எத்தனை டாலர்கள் கொண்டு செல்கின்றீர்?'
எங்களிடம் கேட்க, 'இருநூறுக்குள் இருக்கும்' என்றேன்.
செல்லலாம் என்று வழிவிட்டார்; விரைவில் நகர்ந்தோம்!
உள்ளே மூவர் அமரும் வரிசை; எனது, ஜன்னல் இருக்கை.
இடப்புறம் அமைந்ததால், வட திசை கண்களில் காணும்!
எடுத்தேன் காமராவை; என் படப்பிடிப்புத் தொடங்கணும்!
விமானங்கள் நிமிடத்திற்குப் பல இறங்கி ஏறுவதால், எம்
விமானம் நகர்ந்து, மேலேற, வரிசையில் காத்து நின்றது;
தூரத்தில் சென்ற விமானம், இந்த விமான இறக்கையின்
ஓரத்தில் ஒட்டியது போல ஒரு கோணத்திலே தெரிந்தது!

I am in great pleasure and thank to you, for having much confidence upon my writings. Though, I have a plan to write about the Tamils where in abroad, but I have dropped my decision when learnt that Mr.Kunjuppu also having interest to write about this. With, obviously I want to kept in abide this. This is a right time to give this creativity to Mr.Kunjuppu, because he is the competent person than me to handle this worthy job.

எங்கள் முறை வந்ததும், Runway யில் சென்று வேகம் எடுத்து,
எங்கள் விமானம் பறக்க ஆரம்பிக்க, சிறு பெட்டிகளைப்போல்
வீடுகள் சிவப்பு நிறத்தில் விளங்க, Twickenham Stadium தெரிய,
ரோடுகள் வளைந்த நாடாக்கள் போல இருக்க, மேகங்களைக்
கடந்து, உயரம் எட்டினோம்! ஆடாது அசங்காது பல நாடுகளை,
கடந்து செல்லுவோம், சிங்காரச் சென்னைக்கு வந்து சேர்ந்திட.
விமானம் ஓட்டியது மிகவும் நேர்த்தி! சில நிமிடங்கள் மட்டும்
விமானம் மாட்டு வண்டியை எம் நினைவில் கொண்டு வந்தது!
தெளிந்த வானமாக இருந்ததால், நிலம் ஒருவாறு நன்றாகவே
தெரிந்தது; சிவந்த மண் பரப்புக்கள்; அடர் நீல நீர் நிலைகள் சில;
சிறு புள்ளிகளாக வீடுகள்; புழுக்களாக ஆறுகள் என்று பார்த்து,
சிறு பிள்ளையின் குதூகலத்துடன் அவற்றைப் படமெடுத்தேன்.
உலக வரைபடத்தில் காணுவது போலக் காட்சிகள்! இவற்றை
உலகம் அறிய, வானிலிருந்து பார்த்தே வரைவார் அல்லவா?
மலைப் பகுதிகள் சில வெறிச்சோடிக் கிடக்க, அழகிய பச்சை
மலைப் பகுதி ஒன்றில் வெள்ளை நூல்கள் போலப் பாதைகள்!
நிலமும் நீரும் சேரும் இடங்கள் கொள்ளை அழகுதான்! மனம்
தினமும் நினைத்து மகிழுமாறு, வண்ணம் மிகுந்த வடிவங்கள்!
வானம் நீல வண்ணத்தில் இருக்க, அதில் தெரிந்தது, மிளிரும்
வண்ணம் விளங்கும் அழகிய வெண்மையான வண்ண நிலவு!
அழகாக முயல் குட்டி நிற்பதுபோல உருவம் அதில் இருந்தது;
முழு நிலவு தெரிகின்ற பௌர்ணமிக்கு ஒரு தினமே இருந்தது!
துபாய் தாண்டும்போது இரவு நேரம் ஆனது; பிரகாசமான ஒளி
துபாய் நகரின் அழகை வானிலிருந்து எம்மை ரசிக்க வைத்தது!
அபுதாபிதான் என்று நினைக்கின்றேன்! ஒளி இன்னும் அதிகம்!
அபூர்வமான வடிவில், பல வண்ண விளக்குகளால் மின்னியது!
