Hello TVK sir,
I am pure veg yaar..my husband also is pure veg.
There is even no silk saree or silk garment or any leather product in my house.
All cosmetics and soaps and shampoos used are certified against animal testing.
All vitamins taken are in vege capsules sans gelatin.
No Ant is killed in my house..so you can find some of them in my kitchen.
All animals that come to my home are given food....my neighbour's cats are given nice biscuits to eat.
No fan is switched on if any insect enters the house for fear if they fly they will get killed by the fan blades.
So there is no active killing in my house of any kind.
So it is a very very environmental friendly home.
Naan vegetarian. There are no ants or any roaches or bugs in my home, I spray 'em all. There are no flies, spray 'em too.
I wear a leather belt.
A leather watch strap.
A leather wallet.
A leather winter coat (sometimes).
A leather hat.
I listen to mridangam (goat skin), tabla (donkey skin), and thavil (buffalo skin). Oh, and I also like Siva's udukkai (typically yak skin).
I eat yogurt- excellent probiotic- thickened using gelatine (derived from the insides of Ox horns).
My 'veggie' pizza has cheese (made with rennet- enzymes derived from rabbit or calf intestines).
My shampoo is made in the US or Thailand or someplace (actively tested on animals).
My soap contains beef or pork tallow.
My shirt collar is stiffened by fish (shark) bones.
Shirt buttons are also made out of fish bones.
Sugar I eat is whitened using bone char.
Vibhuthi I sport is (mostly) made using fresh ashes, and perfume added to it.
The vitamin capsule I take has shell made out of animal derivatives.
Sometimes I even set mouse traps which asphyxiate the rodent, or poison it.
List goes on..
So you see, Naan Vegetarian!!
