SIR - The law and order situation is t.nadu is getting rotten day by day. in holy town of tenkasi a hindu munnani leader has been murdered in cold blood. as a result, the town is tense and private & public property worth lakhs has been destroyed. there are reports of injuries to some persons. it is said a mosque was allowed to be built opposite the tenkasi temple land and the justified opposition of hindus has led to tension and the present situation. the ageing dmk chiefminister ,always a stooge of islamic fundmentalists is more interested in doling out rice, gas, land and cash awards to tainted sportspersons out of tax payer money instead of sincerely trying to control law and order! i request police officials and authorities to be ever vigilant and see that the security situation does not go out of hand. it was during previous dmk govt. 1996-2001 we witnessed caste riots, communal clashes, bomb blasts and kidnappings all over the state. it should be ensured that history does not repeat itself.

SIR - the shenanigans of anbumagan...err..sorry...anbumani ramadoss, health minister of india , are getting worse day by day. he is getting imbalanced in his thinking and dabbles in unwanted matters in a dubious way, getting a bad name for his office and his govt. He is trying to impose unwanted restrictions on ayurvedic medicines, whilst not emphasising on any controls for other forms of medicines like unani, allopathy, homeopathy etc., the primeminister should warn him to behave properly or else drop him from the ministry like a hot potato!!!

[SIR - The dmk chief minister of t.nadu, instead of trying to reduce prices of essential commodities , which have skyrocketed since dmk came to power in may 2006, has suddenly reduced the cost of tickets in cinema theatres, as if this is so important for people of t.nadu!! this move will lead to reduction of collections in multiplexes and so public will be affected as comforts in these multiplexes will now be reduced.

I feel this is because Cinema medium has completely captured the imagination of the people of TN. Cinema is the preparatory ground for plunge into politics. No one without some kind of Cinema connection can ever become CM in TN. It is only natural that all CMs act favourably vis-a-vis the film industry. Till such time that the TN masses can look beyond 'reel heros' for 'real heros', there is no point in complaining. :flame:

SIR - Gandhiji may have asked indian govt. to pay pakistan some amount.

Gandhi blackmailed India to pay a rogue nation (a nation which thrust war on India, killing our civilians and soldiers) with his 'fast unto death' tactics. That makes him a traitor, if not worse.

If MK blackmails the UPA govt. to pay Rs.50 crores to pakistan, would you shamelessly justify it, as you're justifying gandhi's actions? I doubt it. Goes on to show Indians have no ability to think. All Indians can do is read the congress version of history that Gandhi saved India, Savarkar was a fundie and so forth. No originality whatsoever.

SIR- it is true that gandhiji suggested that indian govt. pay pakistan 50 crores. but , even if gandhiji blackmailed why did nehru the then prime minister of india, yield to that blackmail?? is nehru so spineless that anybody can blackmail him?? as prime minister it was his duty to uphold the supremity of law. the blame, if at all there is any, for paying pakistan should go on nehru, not gandhi. nehru disrespected gandhiji and ignored his ideas on many occassions. he could easily have disobeyed him on this issue also! but the fact that be submitted and yielded to the pressure, shows that he is unfit(or is it he was unfit) to rule this country

SIR- I remember reading an article in a newspaper many years ago, that in indonesia they have converted their language to roman script from their own script. after this the literacy rate has increased considerably. because roman script is very easy to read and understand. why not convert all languages in india (except sanskrit, of course) to roman script? the devanagiri script is very diffcult to learn. comparitively, roman script is relatively very easy. adopting roman script in india for all languages could increase literacy rate and would be very easy for any person to learn any language. any takers for this idea??

SIR - i strongly oppose move by dmk govt. of t.nadu to impose tamil as a language in high court in t.nadu. most of the lawyers, litigants and judges are versed with english version of law only. it will be very diffcult for people if tamil is imposed like this suddenly for cheap publicity. it is important for Mr. Karunanidhi to taket.nadu upto national and international standard. this move will push tamils away from international and national streams back to the discarded, discredited and dirty cesspool called dravidanaadu!!!

I was quite amused when I saw a news item with pictures of Mr. Karunanidhi's grand son (forget his name, some ...'nidhi'). The news item boasted about the child's prodigy on how great he was in speaking ONLY in English to the Police Officers who were there .... It said that the child will speak only in English!!! (and they were very proud about it!)
Here is Mr. MK advocating for Tamil (not that I am against it!) but his whole family is educated in English convent, go aborad for higher studies but tells the masses to study ONLY in Tamil!!

If a certain community supports evil, that community 'gets' evil in return. Do you think it's a coincidence that Hindus are getting punished in a dozen different ways-terrorism, tsunami, chikungunya, AIDS, Dengue, draughts, floods, earthquakes? It can't be a coincidence. It's karma. Because Hindus consistently support evil, they're being punished repeatedly.

As for my contention that Hindus are evil, all you have to do is look around and you'll come across a plethora of such instances. If not, let me know and I'll give you a million examples to show why hindus are evil. In short, hindus are a disgrace to Hinduism which, ironically, happens to be the world's greatest religion.:thumb:

[SIR - I think the whole world knows that nehru was an inept administrator. but gandhiji never held any govt.office and never occupied any position of power like nehru. all views of gandhji were voluntary and moral for his followers, not mandatory and binding. so to blame gandhiji for the present ills of the country is wrong. it is the nehru family, which has been occupying office in india for such a long time which should be punished for the current rotten condition of the country.

SIR - The dmk chief minister of t.nadu had issued an laughable order that any film which is named in tamil will be given tax free exemption!!! that means , even if the film is full of vulgarity and violence if it has a tamil name, irrespective of merit, the dmk chief minister will exempt the film from tax! i wonder whether the dmk chief minister is going to produce any film under his family banner! most of the films scripted by the dmk chief minister during recent years were dismal flops!! now if these flops are released again, which is possible, there will be no tax for these movies!similarly , new movies if produced by family of dmkchief minister will also not attract any tax! so the family of the dmk chief minister will be benefitted at tax payers expense! the tax lost due to this exemption will be made good by increasing taxes of some other sectors!

the love which the family of dmk chief minister has for english , arabic, latin and urdu is well known. for them, tamil is a commodity to sell, market and reap the harvest.so silverfox need not be surprised at all!

SIR - I request indian govt. to seriously consider giving Telugu language status of a classical language. telugu is a beautiful language. telugu is second to no language in its richness. even mahakavi bharathiyar has called telugu as 'sundara telugu' if tamil can be declared as a classical language under pressure from dmk,why not telugu, on its merit? the thyagaraja kirtanas are enough to proved the greatness of telugu!

SIR - This is regarding posting of silverfox about the dmk chief ministers's love for english and arabic. in japan even MNCs name their companies and products in japanese- viz. sansui, toshiba, mitshubishi etc. but here a person who boasts about himself as the leader of entire tamil race, names his family television channel as 'sun' tv in english! he suffers from inferiority complex that if he gives a pure tamil name to his channel, people will think he does not know english!!

the dmk chief minister fumes that archanas in temples are conducted in sanskrit. actually though the archanas are recited in sanskrit , they are written in tamil form only! still the dmkchief minister vomits hatred against these archanas. but in mosques arabic is recited and even written in arabic.all muslims n t.nadu and even dmk have arabic names!! will the dmk chief minister have the courage to oppose this arabic onslaught on t.nadu??

SIR - There is a new danger in installing statues of persons like periar romsomy in public places. anti brahmin vandals may deliberately damage these statues and use this as an excuse to attack innocent brahmins and brahmin places of worship. it is said the permission for this tainted statue was given way back in the 1970s! wonder how much amount the organisers collected fromthe public on the pretext of erecting statues! wonder why no statue was erected for almost 30 yrs! is the original permission still alive legally? i smell a rat in the entire issue! is it moneypower which prevailed in the end???

Yeah. We should name our products in our own names. Fortunately, our missiles are named like Agni, Prithvi etc...but so far we have not even developed a consumer electronic or cars, that can be named like "Muniyaandi Digital camera" or "Ramasubramaniam car" . But the good thing is we have atleast Sokkalal beedi :lol: .

We can give million examples!! For what? To say Hindus are evil? Tsunami, chikungunya, AIDS, Dengue, draughts, floods, earthquakes are every where and for all. O.K. you want us to look around. I don't quite agree to this. VAT is the structure which is followed in most of the mature economies. Putting aside technical aspects, VAT by nature will only bring down the prices because it seeks to tax only the "value addition" by each person in the trading chain. Hence it actually removes the 'cascading effect'. It also removes the 'tax inconsistencies' between different states for the same item. Is it any logical that a person in TN should pay more than say a person in AP for the same item due to the tax structure ? (Admittedly the prices can vary due to market conditions, but tax shouldn't be reason for the pricing variance). Along with VAT the 'protectionist' attitude of several states in levying "Entry tax" for items "imported" from other states should also go away. The reason that traders (backed by Left who else !!!) are raising a hue & cry is that it requires them to maintain records to prove their value add. VAT surely will bring in certain short term difficulties but from a long term perspective VAT is the way to go.

SIR - I thank hariharan for clarifying some of mydoubts about VAT. But the fact that traders will have to maintain more details is definetely going to make it difficult for them. again, if there are more details to be stored by traders, naturally authorities will have to look intothese extra details, and thus, their work also becomes more. because of this the consumer could also get affected. the dmk chief minister offers the lame excuse that since all states accepted VAT t.nadu also should. but all states in india have accepted hindi. t.nadu has not.

SIR - In brahminism, orthodox rituals are performed by persons in topless attire only. topless attire is considered as a form of respect to god. this is the main reason, as far as i know, why women are not allowed to perform orthodox pujas in brahminism.

SIR- I request t.nadu govt. to ban the book 'Vanthaargal Vendraargal' by 'mullah' madan of ananda vikatan. this book glorifies islamic invasion of india by twisting facts, blacking out many truths about barbarism of foreign islamic invaders. for e.g. Dr. arun shourie point out that, hindus in those days after defeating the muslim invaders would send them back without torturing or killing them. similarly, on each and every day after battle is over, the hindus would go to enemy camp of muslim invaders to deliver dead bodies, handover injured persons and even have banter and fun with them.in short, the hindus even while fighting the muslim enemies did not take the enimity to heart. on the contrary,the muslim invaders killed, tortured indian hindus ruthlessly if they were captured. they did not follow any moral code while fighting. for them victory , looting and islamicising india alone was the aim. these facts have not been properly highlighted inthe book. the islamic invaders are glorified in the book as heroes. not surprisingly the dmk govt. honoured s.s.vasan, so called founder of ananda vikatan by releasing a stamp in his 'honour'!
