Introduction

My name is K.Srinivasan working as Audio visual specialist in Indian Maritime University (Central University) at Chennai. I have two excellent sons. One is doing his 3rd year B.Tech in Civil and another one is awaiting for results of +2 Final.
My wife is Home maker and takes care of a small Real Estate business and she is always busy with it.
I doo help her during weekends to accompany her clients to visit site.
I am very god fearing Man and I had never thought of others to suffer.
I will be traveling often to South Tamil Nadu in between my busy office schedule.
My aim is to get admission for maximum numbers of candidates from my community in the University for Maritime studies.
I hope that you would have got some idea about me.

I am visranth, now i am working in HCL in chennai as a Software Enggnieer. Am maried, she is house wife. she finished her Bcom, and she is doing CA.... One year before we got married, waiting for Junior.... Am very intersted to visit temples as much as possible. even i am very interested to learn Rudhram, but tilll now i dont have a chance to get it.......

Dear all,

I was born (in 1930) and brought up at Coimbatore. After graduating from Govt. Arts College, CBE I served in M&SM (later Southern) Rlys. and retired from service in 1988. Since all my 3 kids are well settled in US, I also moved over here (US). As I am much interested in classical/devotional music, I was browsing the net and fortunately I came across this site. I am happy to see the motives of yours and happy to be one amongst you.

I am Ram Kumar Murti and presently residing at Dwarka,New Delhi.
My late father was from Puddukotta and my late mother from Tanjore. I have an elder brother and who is residing at Chennai. I have two sons, the elder one is Arun and is in Dubai and my younger son Arvind is in Bangalore. My initial schooling was at Christ The King High School, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, and thereafter I completed my Graduation from, University of Madras ( AM Jain College, Chennai ). During the course of my work I have lived in Hyderabad, Bombay, Indore, Ahmedabad before relocating to New Delhi. I am a logistics professional and have been in this for the past 35 years. My wife Lakshmi does a lot of social work in Delhi.
It is quite by accident that I visited your site and found that you are doing yeomen service to the Brahmin Community.

I'm Uma, iyer vadamal by birth but married to a north indian (he's a kayastha) living in california. I try to perform all the iyer rituals as in my parental home side and teach my daughter the same, though our preference is to teach her values to be a good human being. Good to know about this forum. My native is Mayavaram (near kumbakonam).

My question to all the elders here is,

Since my husband side doesn't belong to iyer community, can I do archanai for my daughter with my parental side gotram?
