When some one calls out 'கோந்தை" :baby:
we will expect to a see a cute little boy or girl.

But I have known கோபுரக் கோந்தை(s)
(since they measure 6' x 4' and weigh 90 + kilos.)

I have seen கோந்தை anna, கோந்தை mama and
கோந்தை thatha to name just a few.

Apparently once a கோந்தை... always a கோந்தை, irrespective of the other changing facts and factors.

The other day I heard a woman call out "தங்கம்!"
and hoped to see a baby girl.

I almost :faint: when a giant balloony boy in his late teens turned up with multiple midriff bulges.

So names can be misguiding and misleading.

Never fall in love hearing just the name
of a person without knowing 'the form"
that goes with "the name." :nono:

Dear VR Ji,

I know what you mean..I have seen some people who have nick names like Baby,small girl,small boy and they are old now and in different sizes and dimensions and still use those names.
I find it real weird.

Normally one may succeed or fail, but all that depends on his/her effort.
One may control his/her own thoughts but he/she cannot exercise the
control on the circumstances. Achievement of a goal is assured, the

Life is like that

Life is not a Rose Bed to every one. Everyone desires to live a life of
fulfillment of his desires and passion. We notice a number of things or
actions around us every day. It is just a matter as to how we approach
it and if we are able to realize that. For some, fear is the mind killer.
Even today, I see people encounter phobias like fear of air travel. Some
unable to take any meaningful or useful or positive decisions because of
their wavering mind. Some, not able to face the problems, thinking of
quitting the job and commence a business or vice versa. Owing to lack
of clarity, some do not know what one should do to overcome the problems
or bottlenecks. Even, some do not have an idea as to what he wants in
life. I see a person having B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering doing a Clerks
job in bank. If we closely watch, we will find every successful person today
might have faced many fears or made many mistakes. At times, worries
never come true. One should have a positive approach. One should get
interested in personal growth and development and one should learn as to
how to set the goals in life and become more productive in life. Visualisation
of life is very essential. Above all, for some luck and recommendation
favor besides the money plays the crucial role. Where will the educated
poor go, if he has no moral support. This is also life we come across.

A "Fun Girl" is a very ambiguous term!

A "Fun-seeking girl" என்றால் அமெரிக்காவில்

"A dime a dozen" கிடைப்பார்கள் தாராளமாக!

நமக்கு வேண்டியது நம் குடும்பத்துக்கு ஏற்ற

ஒரு vivacious girl and not a vicious girl!

கணவனுக்கு நல்ல மனைவியாகவும்,

பிறக்கும் குழந்தைகளுக்கு நல்ல தாய் ஆகவும்,

நமக்கு நல்ல மகளாகவும் இருக்கவேண்டும்.

பெரியவன் அவனே பெண்ணைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தான்!

அவர்களை வாழ்வில் இணைக்க மாருதியின் உதவியும்

Off late I dont know why I seem to be getting lots of super senior citizens as my patients.
They seem to be somewhat reluctant to leave my room and go on and on talking and talking and talking.

I dont really mind provided there is no other patient waiting to see me.

Ok and this is the best part..I have one couple who are in their late 80's and both husband and wife are nice people and wife always tells her husband "stop asking doctor so many questions..you keep repeating yourself..how many times do you expect her to answer you the same thing" but the husband will still keep on asking me questions.

Then the wife will tell him "let me see the doc also " and she will hardly ask me questions and tell him "see I didnt ask doctor so many times unlike you and I understood what she said once"

Ok next is both will leave the room and he will go to his car and she will come back to my room and ask me "doc what did you say just now to me..did you say anything to me? I cant remember what you told me ..can you please tell me again"

and this cycle repeats each time they come.

குழந்தைகளின் கற்பனா சக்தி அலாதியானது.

எங்கிருந்தோ, எது வழியாகவோ, எங்கோ தாவுவார்கள்.

அச்சம் இல்லாமல் நம்மிடம் கேள்விகள் கேட்பார்கள்.

நமக்குத் தான் சில சமயம் வாய்அடைத்துப் போகும்

ஒரே தூணின் மேல் உள்ள நான்கு சிங்கங்களைப்

பார்த்துவிட்டு

Some Senior Citizens are unlikely to follow the instructions, though they
may gently nod their head and smile sweetly too, but they will do the things
the same way they have done earlier. Another point is that some old people
deny to accept their hearing problems too.
