[h=1]வேறுபாடு, இடர்ப்பாடு[/h]

வித விதமான சுவைகளைச் சேர்க்கும்;

விளையும் அனர்த்தம் விரும்பாவிடினும்;

பட்டப் பெயர்கள் பலப்பல சூட்டப்படும்;
திட்டும், உதையும் தாராளமாகக் கிட்டும்;
கல்லால் அடித்துக் கூடச் சிலர் விரட்டுவர்;

கருத்துக்கள் முற்றிலும் புறக்கணிக்கப்படும்;

People offer food, shelter and clothes to perfect strangers
and yet there are blood relations who are not moved to pity
by the sad plight of their kin and kith.
Is blood really thicker than water? :doh:

A friend of mine made a similar observation the way few of his close family members / friends behaved during this floods in Chennai . But we have to take consolation from the fact that such members are few and many did provide help to their close family , friends or even to perfect strangers at least during this Crisis . Whether this trend will continue I do not know but I did find a change of heart and attitude in people at least during this 1 week of Crisis and the lesson to be learnt is we all need to support each other as no one knows when the Crisis will strike us next as the Chennai Flood Crisis affected people from all income category - Low , Middle and High income groups .

Very true sir! Calamity can strike at anyone at any time. Life is such. :(

No one can take away anything with him/ her to the next world/birth. :popcorn:

"Do good as you would like to done to you!" should be the policy! :)

"Dharmam thalai kaakkum!"

the head of anyone, at any time, for any reason when they felt displeased. )

Many such proverbs are still in use even though the days of the impulsive kings are gone!

Dear VR ji,

There has been a lot of strange happenings going on in my house late at night ranging from seeing strange dark shadows in my room to hearing someone bathing in the bathroom when no one is bathing,getting suddenly very foul smell at night ..at times the smell could be intoxicatingly fragrant.

I have been ignoring all these supposedly "Paranormal" happenings cos I was just not too bothered to pay any attention.
At times I attribute all these to my tired mind too.

But yesterday it was no tired mind anymore when my neighbour approached me saying that she called a religious person from a mosque to "cleanse" the house cos she has been seeing dark shadows and hearing sounds of people bathing at night!

She said she has also heard the voice of a female crying late at night and she told me that she is revealing all these cos she too wants me to do a cleansing ritual cos the person from the mosque said that the Dark Entity that haunts the area frequents many houses too and the best is the adjacent houses too do some rituals so that the entity goes away!

I told her at present I am not planning to do any ritual cos I do not want to anger any entity as long it does not cause me any harm and I am willing to ignore all the unusual happenings.

My neighbour was not too pleased that I am not planning to do any ritual.

I am not scared but glad to know that I was not imagining all these.

Cos at times when you see and hear things you can not explain you wonder if its your own imagination..but if someone else too is having the same experience until they called a person from the mosque to cleanse their home..I guess I was not imagining what I saw.

you require rest.

you have started hearing/imagining things.

are you sure you do not require a holiday ?

looks pretty abnormal.

of course you do not scare easily.

but you can be made to believe that there are spirits around just because one more person says this.

In weak moments some can jump to conclusions which are erroneous.

As a rationalist, I think it is all bunkum

Dear Krish ji,

You see at times I too wonder if there is a logical explanation cos occupants of two houses are having the exact same experiences.

I am starting to wonder if there is a spike in electromagnetic waves in my area cos some increase in electromagnetic activity can cause para normal like symptoms and people mistake it for a haunting.

My mother is telling me that all these might be cos I do not pray!LOL

I told her my neighbour prays 5 times a day and has the same experiences too..so how can one not praying be a magnet for entities?

Anyway I am not really alarmed cos there is always an explanation for everything. So called Paranormal sightings and experiences are nothing really new for me!LOL Don't worry ..I am still sane.

Even if its a Paranormal entity I am not too concerned cos all beings have a right to co-exist.

Coming to holidays..there is a 3 day holiday starting tomorrow ..its the state Sultan's B'day followed by the weekend.

Recently there was a scare in the US on UFO sightings . Many could see that and some even photographed it. It can be seen on Youtube postings

After a week or so Nasa clarified these objects were put in the sky by them as part of their space program.

I hope the holiday week end refreshes you.

I see that you have not been forgiven for stopping prayers and close ones think you can return to the path of the faithful.

Renukaji

Parents specially mothers blame themselves if children in particular do not conform to accepted religeous practices.

Lighting kuthuvilakku in front of God is considered as a ritual not to be missed on fridays and festival occassions.

I saw one TB girl had boldly posted that she had no religeous belief in a tamil matrimonial portal -almost daring boys/his parents to accept her that way.

I thought it was interesting.

I would have accepted her in my family . Only I did not have a matching boy in my extended family.

Dear Renu,

Ghosts have been very fond of you as per your past experiences also.

No wonder the shady shadowy visitor needs a bath every night

She is foul smelling and becomes fragrant smelling after the refreshing bath.

Does she cry whenever she does not get a chance to bathe for some reason?

Talking of peaceful coexixtence I thought it included lizards, cockroaches, ants, mosquitoes, flies

spiders, mice, cats and occasionally bees and honey bees.

Now I learn that it included the casual visitors from another dimension.

I do believe in para normal activities. But I also believe that

praying to Hanuman will put an end to these experiences.

(from Hanuman chalis

Take care dear at least for our sake! :)

Called Dengvaxia, the vaccine has been developed by France-based Sanofi Pasteur and is the result of an extensive clinical development programme running for almost two decades. "Today, with this first marketing authorisation of Dengvaxia, we have achieved our goal of making dengue the next vaccine-preventable disease," said Olivier Brandicourt, Sanofi's managing director and chief executive officer, in a statement on Wednesday."This is a historic milestone for our company, for the global public health community and, most importantly, for half the world's population who lives at risk of dengue," he added.

[h=3]Siddhivinayak temple set to give government's gold scheme a boost[/h]By Rajendra Jadhav MUMBAI (Reuters) - One of the most popular temples in India may soon make the first substantial contribution to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's plan to recycle tonnes of idle bullion to reduce imports and the country's current account deficit. Mumbai's two-century-old Shree Siddhivinayak temple, devoted to the Hindu elephant-headed god Ganesha, is considering depositing some of its 160 kilogrammes (kg) of gold with banks, according to a spokesman. The deposit would be a big boost for the gold monetisation scheme that has attracted only one kg in its first month. ...
