BTW when we have lunch or dinner together on weekends discussions are all about Brahman and Maya etc.
In fact it was he who told me that the word Sanathana Dharma does not exists and only the word Dharma is used and he was asking me to find out in Forum when did the usage of the word Sanathana Dharma start.

He feels may be after the advent of the Buddhist school of thought..since they too use the word Dharma and Hindus too use the word Dharma so differentiate these 2 schools of thoughts the word Sanathana was added.

Delusion is used for cases of insanity.

A drug addict might hallucinate but he may be normal and not insane.

An insane person might not take drugs but he can be suffering from delusion like delusion of grandeur..delusion of persecution etc.

Maybe 'maya' is as powerful as substance abuse. Some substances can cause an individual to feel deluded, like alcohol for example. Beauty, attraction, substances, food, even exercise.. everything is good only in moderation. Too much of anything is well, too much..

there is never any escape according to you. how do you decide what you deserve krishna ji. if we go about methodically without worrying too much about the rights and wrongs of the moves we make to attain the object of desire ,we will always win. there has to be attitude of a winner to attain ones goals.buck up

That is not rude. My view is that between births your mind matures according to your experiences in the previous births and that is how one could be naturally a more evolved person.

You see for example....last week I got to know something about a someone's action which to my opinion was not very commendable .....this person is know to my family but I chose not to tell anyone about that cos I thought:


1)If I tell anyone..the news will get blown out of proportion cos others will start judging the person too harshly and try to act Holier Than Thou with that person.

Just because I use the word spiritual, what it manifests in a person need not be other worldly. A spiritually evolved person is still a human being but one whose mind is balanced. This is reflected in his thoughts and actions, in his strategies, in his objectives and so on. He is more inclined towards long term than the short term, he is less self centered and less prejudiced. He is less prone to emotions especially negative emotions and so is less afflicted by lust, greed , fear, jealousy and so on. He is intelligent and surprisingly you would find many of them are good looking.

The above are some of the traits I can think of in a spiritually evolved person.
