Soft corner, yes. Pets are pampered and working animals are also taken care of with normal care and annual bonus (pongal). Temple elephants have specific worship related duties, are respected by the temple authorities and devotees. Amma has started the practice of one month vacation for temple elephants in forest setting. Animals are no-no in circus, and perhaps one day your dream of no animal in a human settlement may happen.

Roti, kapda, makan are considered the basic needs of humans. There is already a clamour for providing other services for those (men prisoners, why not to women prisoners) isolated from free life.

You have a vishala mindset. I am for coexistence with animals avoiding cruelty and ill treatment and extracting relevant work from them.

So you see its not about my way or your way or the highway..its just that I have a soft corner for animals..what to do?? is that a fault?

A person who can well balance that mix in the day to day life can be an awesome partner. I like a man who talks..so that he would interact with me..I like a man who gossips too...I have a male friend who shares juicy gossip with me..once he had seen some patients he would call and share the latest gossip.
