So what has Shakila got to do with that?

Shocking Vaagmi has such a filthy mind. He might know lots about Shakeela. He is insulting SVs and non-SVs too.

Dear Ash

This is what I included in my post but took back to send through PM. <edited to remove offensive language in the pm - praveen> [/COLOR]

I requested Vaagmi Sir to delete a portion of his post, which I felt as taunting and teasing - HERE.

Though he resisted, on second thoughts, he has sent it by PM to Ashwin. Again I request.

Please do not to mock at the religious symbols, which many of us consider holy. Thanks.

So what has Shakila got to do with that?

Renuka Ma'am,
You asked the impact of Shakila and here it is...Looks like our Ambis and Mama's are experts in this "Law" too :)

But i dont find the posts about "Naamam" funny , as I worship Krishna,Hanuman more...

Dear Ash,

If this is a PM sent to you by Vaagmi ji..I feel you should not paste it in forum for everyone to read cos when a person sends us a PM that is becos there is a certain amount of trust he/she has in us.

I feel you should edit the PM portion.

I agree with you.

To go to court on the namam issue is to establish one's legal rights and ownership; what is wrong in that. Even puranic and itihasic characters have fought to establish their rights. Accommodation and adjustment to resolve the issue is a different matter. Foe example: When a vadakalai dhanavan donates an elephant to a thenkalai temple with the condition on the namam, which is accepted and then the namam changed after a few years say. Then there is a dispute which may be resolved at the local level or escalated (modern terminology) to the king or the court. In any dispute both sides have issues (real or imaginary or fake). So nothing wrong in fighting over namam or any such issue. It is not a laughing matter.

It is a laughing matter cos no one asked the elephant what he wanted!LOL

They should have asked the elephant.."Gajendra Gajendra..which Namam do you want?"

Gajendra replies: My ancestor was not a Vadakalai or Thenkalai ..he called out Narayana Narayana and Lord Vishnu saved him from the crocodile...BTW can I drag you both Kalais to Blue Cross for putting undue pressure on me becos your unresolved ever going on differences?

How do you know they did not ask the elephant or that the elephant did not reply? To the best of my knowledge they asked the elephant ""Gajendra Gajendra..which Namam do you want?" and the Gajendra replied "Whatever my master who bought me and feeds me prefers. The original Gajendra called out AAthimoolame! and Narayana came running. But these days it is not possible. So I leave it to my Annadhata."

Then suddenly some one came and said "Annadhata can slog and feed you, but naming I will do" and named it a Thenkalai Gajendran and to perpetuate the name fixed a Y mark on Gajendra's forehead. The rest is glorious history. There were fist fights and the matter went to Privy Council in London. The poor Judge who was struggling with his ill fitting wig was sufficiently irritated and exlaimed "Why the hell a U mark or a Y mark. Put a +mark if that can solve the problem". LOL.

Yes, why not? For a start you can start your blue cross assault on dog fashion parades, with weird hair and body and tail dos, and the dogs longingly looking at the lady with a wand for cues to jump or do somersaults. Or you want to say - I am right, do it my way only.

Issue is, it is not vadakalai or thenkalai. But the wish to want it my way. Copyright, branding are valid issues even today.

Dear Sarang ji,

Why yaar..do it my way.. do it your way??do what yaar?

You see I do not like zoos cos I feel sad to see wild animals kept in cages..when I read some text which say that Mandana Misra had parrots in cages that could recite Vedas I felt sad cos poor Killis..suffering and no freedom.

When I read that some sages kept deers as pets even then my heart felt sad.

So you see a temple Jumbo is missing out the fun in the jungle a male elephant has.

We all know how poets describe the Jumbo Juice that trickles down the forehead and temporal region of a male elephant in mood and rage..so poor temple Jumbos they do not get any chance for any Midnight Masala frolicking with his harem of she elephants.

So you see its not about my way or your way or the highway..its just that I have a soft corner for animals..what to do?? is that a fault?

Did you think of the temple elephants basic needs? Did you?? Did you? Tell na.
