Comparing intercaste marriages (TB vs Other Brahmins)

It is necessary to show restraint when it comes to judging others. I agree that saying someone is superior based on physical features or even gunas is far from justified. I would go to the extent of saying Brahmin way of life alone is not the ideal way of life . You need to have a balance along with rajas and tamas. Otherwise you are not complete.

There is no denying brahmins are evolved spiritually. But to be called truly spiritual, physical aspects need to be incorporated. one needs courage, one needs to be hard working , persevering, etc .

It is futile to simply be putting down the brahmins while singing praise about brahminism. Genes do carry the effects though not perfectly. It definitely reeks of agenda. As they say ,you cannot explicitly disagree with what they write

I am learning Sanskrit to study vedas and upanishads because I don't think translations convey the msg accurately so I am trying to . I pursue education and attain good karmas and eat pure veg food my whole life. I feel that I am following my guna well.

How is it tamasic to prefer to marry someone who looks better ? As long as you don't make fun of someone or mistreat them for their facial features, it is fine to prefer to marry someone with better features and prefer that your ethnic group do the same.

When I talk about intelligence being lower in non Brahmins I am mainly talking about non Brahmin Indians. IQ studies have been conducted showing the average IQ of Brahmins to be 10+ points higher than non Brahmins. Brahmins have contributed more than other groups to literature, science, and art than other groups.
Its good that you are learning Sanskrit.
Kindly take into consideration too that sanskrit vocabulary has multiple shades of expressions hence at times we wont find even Sanskrit bhashyam of the same text alike. Keep studying it, its a beautiful language.
If you are newly learning it, my advise to you is to also focus on spoken vocabulary once you get a grip of basic grammar.
I notice most Sanskrit books seldom focus on daily usage spoken sentences and not much emphasis on high usage verbs.

Coming to IQ of non Brahmin indians being lower than Brahmins..that too 10+ plus points higher.
Its best we dont generalize, though family dynamics count..in the sense Brahmins are generally intellectually inclined as they were always a community that perserved the Vedas and family support for studies is higher...and these days even other communities are also intellectually inclined hence you see the gap narrowing.
Families from bussiness communities tend to have very sharp bussiness skills though I wouldnt want to generalize too much..environment shapes our genes too and genes do shape our environment.

Also just to add we humans use very little of our total cerebral capacity.
We tend to use the word intelligence only for academics and we tend to downplay other forms of intelligence by calling it talent.

For eg a person who is an artist par excellence is functioning using his artistic intelligence...the part of his brain for artistic intelligence is more active than others.
But we choose to call geniuses of arts and music as talented rather than intelligent.

Last but not least..at times its best we never underestimate anyone till proven otherwise.
