This poor child is severely undernourished..lost all subcutaneous fat and also lost the fat in his cheeks..so anyone would look a bit out of this world in starvation.

Please do not see an "alien" in this child..just see the sadness in his eyes yet his eyes have a glimmer of hope.

Wherever this child is lets hope he has recovered.

I think these siblings are a case in India where their father can't cope feeding them cos they have a genetic disorder that makes them overtly hungry and gain weight.

If I am not mistaken I think this is the case where the father wanted to sell his own kidney to raise funds to treat his children.

Some cases of obesity have a genetic and endocrinal causative factor where metabolism slows down and even without eating much a person gains weight.Even physical activity hardly helps such cases.

I had said this was a sad contrast . A case under-nourishment among people who over-eat and become fat!
The eyes are sad but the lips are smiling which assures that the child has not lost all hopes still.

Now doctors have learned to work directly on the brain and make many minor and major adjustments including re-setting one's biological clock and annul the side effects of a nasty jet lag.
Isn't there a way to cure this genetic problem of non-stop-eating???

I like the modifications Rukmini has done by doing away with the long and pendulous jadai - which always comes in the way and more so when one leaps around like gazelle or a deer.

The heavy eloborate haarams can do more harm than good when one dances so elegantly and swiftly.

The heavy brocade dresses and the elaborate three tier visiri madippu has been replaced by thin colorful light weight material of single tier visiri which is not stiff.

Everything restricting the movement, the speed and the agility has been modified without compromising on the aesthetic sense. :clap2:

May this talented, pretty, lovely dancer live long and give happiness to all the viewers all over the world. :amen:
